No Time to Play Love Games
Liliana and Lucas returned to Queen's Crown Hotel by taking a cab. While waiting for Mr. Chi, one of the Ding family's drivers to arrive, they spent more time together near where the man parked his bike.
Lucas and Liliana sat on a bench provided in the area. The shady tree above helped to shield them from the sun.
They were not alone as several of the hotel guests loitered in the park. Some of them were foreigners, perhaps had just arrived in this country.
"I wanna study some French and Italian," said Lucas out of nowhere. He cast his eyes on Liliana, wondering about her opinion, "What do you think, Lili?"
Lucas' words intrigued Liliana. She quickly understood his desire to learn the two languages because of the reward trip this coming December.
"That's great! I really recommend you learn them," Liliana chuckled, amused by her own enthusiasm, "Translation apps are very advanced now but, it's better if you know the language yourself."
