The next morning dawned bright and early as the construction of the road to Liyue continued in full swing. Satoshi was up and ready, walking through the construction site to check on the progress and make notes about what still needed to be done. The crew was working hard, and with Beidou's assistance, the pace of construction had picked up considerably.
Yet, there were still challenges. Some of the rocky outcrops were proving difficult to clear, even with the machines and the sailors' strength. Satoshi could feel the pressure of the deadline, but he also knew that they were doing everything they could. If only there were a faster way to break through the toughest rocks.
Just as he was pondering over these obstacles, Paimon suddenly floated up to him, her face beaming with excitement. "Satoshi! Guess what? Someone's here to help, and Paimon thinks you're really going to like this!"
Satoshi looked up, his curiosity piqued. "Who is it, Paimon?"
Before Paimon could answer, a high-pitched and cheerful voice called out, "Boom boom, bakudan!"
Satoshi blinked as he saw a small figure running toward him, a massive smile on her face. It was Klee, the little Spark Knight from the Knights of Favonius. She waved enthusiastically, her big red eyes practically glowing with excitement.
"Klee? What are you doing here?" Satoshi asked, smiling despite his surprise.
Klee came to a stop right in front of him, saluting dramatically. "Acting Grand Master Jean said Klee could come help! I heard you're having trouble with some big rocks, so I brought my bombs to help blast them away! No rock is a match for Klee's super big boom-booms!"
Paimon giggled, hovering beside Satoshi. "See? Paimon told you this was going to be great! With Klee here, those rocks won't stand a chance!"
Satoshi laughed, kneeling down to Klee's level. "Well, we're glad to have you here, Klee. Just make sure to be careful, all right? We don't want anyone getting hurt."
Klee nodded vigorously. "Yes, sir! Klee will be careful! But I promise I'll make the rocks go kaboom!"
---
Klee wasted no time getting to work. Under the watchful eyes of Satoshi, Lumine, Paimon, and Beidou, she placed her explosives in strategic locations along the rocky outcrops that had been causing trouble for the construction. The workers and sailors stood at a safe distance, watching with a mix of excitement and trepidation.
"All right, everyone!" Klee called out, her small hands already holding her signature spark to ignite the bombs. "Cover your ears! It's going to be a big one!"
Satoshi and the others exchanged amused glances as they plugged their ears, and Klee tossed the spark towards the carefully placed bombs. A moment later, there was a deafening boom, followed by a series of smaller pops. Dust and debris flew into the air, and the ground rumbled beneath them.
When the dust cleared, the once-imposing rock formations had been reduced to rubble, making it much easier for the construction machines to move forward.
"That… was amazing," Satoshi said, his eyes wide as he looked at the cleared path. "Klee, you're incredible!"
Klee beamed, her face lighting up with pride. "Klee loves to help! Boom boom, kaboom—that's what I do best!"
Beidou clapped Klee on the back, her laughter ringing out. "You've got a lot of spirit, kid. I have to admit, I've never seen anyone clear a path quite like that before."
Paimon floated above them, giggling. "Paimon thinks Klee should come with us every time we need to get rid of big rocks! She makes it look so easy!"
---
With the roadblock out of the way, construction resumed at an accelerated pace. The workers and sailors moved quickly, clearing the smaller debris while the construction machines worked to lay the foundation of the road. Klee continued to help, her excitement never waning as she skipped from one spot to the next, her bombs making short work of the tougher areas.
Lumine and Albedo were busy overseeing the construction and assisting where needed. Albedo's alchemical expertise helped stabilize the ground, ensuring that the road would be safe and durable, while Lumine coordinated with the workers to keep everything on schedule.
"With Klee's help, we're really making progress," Lumine said as she walked up to Satoshi, who was taking notes on his tablet. "I think we might actually get through this section by the end of the day."
Satoshi nodded, a sense of relief washing over him. "It's amazing how much of a difference a little help can make. I was worried about that rock formation, but Klee's really turned things around."
Paimon floated next to them, her cheeks puffed out in thought. "You know, Paimon thinks maybe we should find more people with unique talents to help out. Imagine if we had someone who could make all the trees move out of the way! That'd be so cool!"
Lumine laughed. "We'll have to keep an eye out for anyone who fits that description, Paimon."

As the sun began to set, the crew decided to call it a day. The progress they had made was significant, and everyone was in high spirits. The road to Liyue was starting to take shape, and there was a sense of accomplishment among everyone present.
Klee was sitting near a small campfire, roasting a marshmallow on a stick. She looked up as Satoshi approached, her eyes shining. "Did Klee do a good job today?" she asked, her voice filled with hope.
Satoshi knelt down beside her, smiling warmly. "You did an amazing job, Klee. Thanks to you, we're closer to finishing the road. Everyone is really proud of you."
Klee's face lit up, and she gave Satoshi a big thumbs-up. "Yay! Klee will help anytime! Just call for me, and I'll come running with my bombs!"
Paimon floated over, holding a marshmallow of her own. "And Paimon will be here to cheer you on! No rock stands a chance against Klee and her boom-boom magic!"
Beidou, who was sitting nearby, raised her cup in a toast. "To Klee and her explosive spirit! And to all of us, for the progress we've made. We're building something incredible here—together."
Lumine and Albedo joined in the toast, their expressions filled with pride and determination. "To progress, to friendship, and to the road ahead," Lumine said, her voice steady.
Satoshi looked around at his friends, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. They were building more than just a road—they were building connections, friendships, and a future for everyone in Teyvat. The challenges were many, but with allies like these, there was no doubt in his mind that they would succeed.
As the stars began to twinkle in the sky, the group sat around the campfire, sharing stories, laughter, and dreams for the future. The journey ahead was still long, but with each passing day, they were one step closer to making their vision a reality.
