Takumi watched as three golden beams of light descended.

He had a strong premonition that this time, another legendary Pokémon would appear.

He skillfully skipped the animation.

The list of three golden rewards appeared as above.

Takumi raised an eyebrow, a look of surprise on his face.

He looked at the bouquet in his hand—this item, which was supposed to increase the chance of summoning Shaymin, obviously had no effect.

To use a popular term, it was... well, a misdraw!

While the grass-type mythical Pokémon Shaymin is very cute with its land and sky forms, Meloetta, the Melody Pokémon, isn't a bad outcome either. Not to mention, it's a rare humanoid Pokémon that can switch between its Aria Forme and Pirouette Forme.

Meloetta can control the emotions of both humans and Pokémon through its singing.

In its Aria Forme, Meloetta is a Psychic-type Pokémon, suitable for a typical fighting style. When it changes to Pirouette Forme, Meloetta becomes a Fighting-type Pokémon, gaining access to a different set of powerful moves to deal massive damage.

In simple terms, it has versatility—it can fight from a distance, go up close, and has strong crowd control abilities. It has no weaknesses!

Takumi took the Poké Ball and clicked on Meloetta's entry in the Pokédex:

Takumi clearly cared more about Meloetta's musical abilities and the help it could provide in his work.

"Come out!" He threw the Poké Ball.

A flash of light erupted.

Meloetta, about half a meter tall, appeared. Its initial form was Aria Forme, with light green flowing hair.

It opened its clear eyes, revealing a graceful and elegant demeanor. Meloetta gazed at Takumi for a moment before speaking seriously: "Please guide me, Master!"

"Well, you can call me Takumi," Takumi said.

He squatted down, a gentle smile on his face, and placed his hand on Meloetta's head—only half a meter tall, like a little girl.

He patted her light green hair, which felt like stroking the soft fur of a kitten.

Wow, mythical Pokémon are really easy to adore!

Meloetta maintained a serious expression, but she didn't resist Takumi's action of rubbing her hair. Every so often, a glimmer of comfort and enjoyment flashed in her eyes.

"Tsk, she's just serious by nature," Takumi thought. "No wonder Cresselia sometimes acts shyly."

After a brief greeting, he asked Cresselia to take the sister-like Meloetta to get acquainted with her new home.

Takumi then went on to evaluate the other two golden items.

Earlier, when dealing with Lady Rosalyne in the utility room, he had remarked how useful superpowers were.

Now, he had drawn a psychic power card in the lottery—it was indeed a blessing.

The card granted him Caitlin's psychic power after she had become one of the Unova Elite Four.

Before becoming an Elite Four member, Caitlin struggled to control her psychic abilities, often causing great damage when she lost control.

Takumi would receive the refined psychic power that Caitlin had learned to tame, along with the combat skills of an elite-level psychic-type trainer!

Takumi took a deep breath and clicked on the golden card floating before him.

In an instant, it felt like a super bomb had been stuffed inside his body, with frantic energy rushing through his limbs.

Not far from the lake at Windrise, Venti, who had let Lapras out for a swim, suddenly looked towards Mondstadt's Pokémon House, his emerald green eyes filled with shock.

This wild, violent power... Oh no!

Mondstadt has really had a lot of trouble lately!

Just when Venti felt distressed and was about to rush over to deal with the situation...

In just two or three seconds, all the energy subsided.

At the store's front counter.

Takumi looked at his hands. With a thought, his figure flashed, leaving an afterimage. In the next second, he appeared on top of the Wind Archon statue in Mondstadt's main square.

Overlooking half of Mondstadt under the sunset, he sighed, "I can use teleportation on my own now..."

This is truly a leap forward!

A group of familiar characters were stepping out of the gate.

Kaeya led the way, followed by Eula, Klee, Barbara, and even Diluc, all of whom had been notified by Jean's emergency eagle message.

Obviously, this group was headed to the Pokémon House to draw their initial Pokémon.

The setting sun bathed the expansive Wind Archon Square in warm light.

Klee, who was bouncing around, spotted Takumi on the statue, pointed at him, and exclaimed:

"Hey, hey, Klee sees it—there's a strange brother!"

It seemed the man heard Klee's voice from the edge of the square.

From afar, he smiled at Klee.
