Genius of the leaf

Ryuu Uchiha, a young shinobi who has a rare bloodline of both Uchiha and Uzumaki goes through many tragedies. He lost his memories of his previous life but only retained the memories of his favourite anime world, Naruto, his previous memories are sealed and he can only recall things in a familiar situation. Ryuu is adopted by his father's greatest friend and rival Sakumo Hatake and he later learns of a secret power hidden within his body. (I don't own any naruto verse characters and stuff I only own my oc and some side characters and custom jutsus and powers) enjoy. Also, the first couple of chapters were not that good cause it was my first time but I edited them later.

Ryuu's Prophecy

"Finally, my senjutsu training begins." I've wanted to become a sage for such a long time it's almost unbelievable that it's finally happening, I'm finally in Mt Myoboku.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Jiraiya said as he tapped Ryuu with his elbow.

"But the energy is so much, it's making me feel a little nauseous, it's like I'm going to-"

Ryuu fainted.

"Ryuu!" Jiraiya grabbed him and took him to Fukasaku, he was treated by the two great toad sages and after nearly a whole day, Ryuu woke up.

"What happened?"

He asked as he woke up.

I woke in some sort of room.

"So you're finally awake." Jiraiya was sitting next to him.

"How did I end up here?" He shrugged.

"Jiraiya boy, aren't you hungry?"

Ma asked.

"Um, no I'm not, I'm fine. You can eat the rest don't worry about me." He said while sweating.

"What about you Ryuu?"

Even he shook his head.

"Anyway, pa has gone to meet the toad sage of Mt Myoboku, he wants to ask him what's going on with you, I'm sure he'll be back soon, we've never seen anything like it." Ryuu nodded and got up from his bed.

"Where are you going? You're still weak." Jiraiya asked.

"I'm going to find pa, I want to see the sage." He went with Ryuu, he didn't want him to get lost here.

Ryuu got some food from his scroll, he had carried a lot of ramen so he gave Jiraiya some.

"You know, many years ago I teleported here because I tried to do a Summoning Jutsu without a contract, turns out I was meant to be here." Jiraiya said, as Ryuu was slurping his ramen.

"What do you mean, sensei?"

He asked.

"According to the Prophecy of the great toad, one of my students will bring a great change to the world "the child of Prophecy" That's what he called him, during the second shinobi war, I met three strange kids, Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan, I believed on of these kids was going to be the child of Prophecy, Nagato, he was strange and distant but also caring and kind but most importantly he knows pain."

"Pain?" Jiraiya nodded.

"I believe for people to know how others feel they have to feel pain together, that's how people will be kind to each other, and Nagato believes that too, anyway, after I came back from Amegakure I became Minato's sensei.

A true genius and a prodigy, I didn't have to try teaching him anything, it was kind of boring with him being a genius and all, I would just tell him how to do something or where to look for something and he would find a way to do it, I thought he was my Child of Prophecy but now I'm thinking maybe you're the child of Prophecy, at your age you've mastered so many things."

Ryuu finished his bowl of ramen.

"So there you guys are!" Fukasaku said from behind us.

"Fukasaku-sama, you were looking for us?" He nodded.

"He wants to see you."

I sealed my bowl, and Jiraiya's as we followed Fukasaku.

Once we reached, we found him asleep.

"Jiraiya, stay behind, he wants to see him alone." He nodded.

When I entered the hall, I found the giant toad asleep I tried poking him, but he wouldn't wake up.

"Hey, geezer sage, wake up!" He slowly opened his eyes as he woke up from his sleep.

"Who the hell are you?"

Ryuu grew a tick on his head.

"You told Fukasaku-sama you wanted to see me, don't you remember!?"

"Oh, you're him? I thought you'd be much older when we met, it's about time we met." Ryuu scratched his head.

"Anyway, what did you call me here for?"

He asked.

"Fukasaku told me you fainted as soon as you came here and I wanted to explain to you why." Ryuu nodded.

"In my Prophecy, I foretold that there will be two great children, the child of Prophecy and- "

He fell asleep mid-sentence.

"Hey geezer toad, wake up!"

He opened his eyes quickly.

"Geez, I know you're old, but can't you at least try to stay awake?"

He slowly opened his eyes as he prepared to speak.

"Where was I again?" Ryuu slapped his forehead.

"You were telling me the other child."

"Ah, that's right, the other child, also known as the hybrid, you are the hybrid and also the bright flame to which is to guide and protect the child of Prophecy."

He closed his eyes.

"A bright flame? Do you mean Phoenix Flame?" Ryuu asked, but forgot that he fell asleep.

"Wake up!" He quickly opened his eyes.

"Do you mean Phoenix Flame?"

He slowly nodded.

"Yes, that fire within you is the single most powerful flame, it has been burning eons before even I have, they've existed even before chakra itself, it's like it has a mind of itself this is the first time I've seen it tamed by a human." Ryuu widened his eyes.

"But what does this have to do with me fainting?" He asked.

"I was getting there, this flame has existed for eons, no one alive knows exactly how old it has been burning all we know is that it's an eternal flame that has never been extinguished, and anyone who gets near it turns to ashes immediately, the level that your flame is at right now is nothing compared to what It could be in the future.

In the future, you go by many names such as the hybrid, and some have already started calling you the demon in the land of fire, I cannot reveal to you any other names they will make sense when they come, now, to answer your question, the reason you fainted when you came here is…" He fell asleep again.

"Geezer sage, wake up!" Ryuu was so furious his flames were appearing from his eyes.

"I'm awake, who are you again?"

Ryuu slapped his forehead and his flames extinguished.

"Sigh, I'm Ryuu, you were telling me the reason I fainted."

He opened his eyes.

"That's correct, as I was saying, the reason you fainted was because of another nickname that was foretold, even before you were born, you are the one true sage."

Ryuu scratched his head, "the one true sage?" He nodded.

"I foretold many years ago that there was a boy who walked the path of both light and dark, he sought peace and would do anything to achieve it, but to become powerful enough for that, he was to become the one true sage you are to become a sage in all senjutsu, you must become a perfect toad sage, a perfect dragon sage, and a perfect snail sage." Ryuu widened his eyes.

"The Prophecy foretold that one who senses nature energy strongest will become the one true sage, I'm sure when you meditate you feel the energy in the air, even without being in Mt Myoboku or training, that's why you fainted when you arrived here, all that energy suddenly entering your system, it caused an overflow of power and you fainted."

He fell asleep again.

"Well, at least now I got my answers, but if it's true that I need to become a sage in all three of them, then this will take longer than I've expected and I'll have to take a longer break."

Ryuu left the hall, he found Jiraiya and Fukasaku waiting for him.

"Ryuu, what did he say? Are you the child of prophecy?"

He shook his head.

"No, but he said I'm the eternal flame that protects and guides the child of prophecy."

Jiraiya scratched his head.

"An eternal flame, huh?" I nodded.

"He also gave me many cool nicknames such as The Hybrid and also 'The One True Sage,' pretty cool huh?" He smiled and nodded while Fukasaku widened his eyes.

"What's wrong pa?" I asked.

"He called you the one true sage." I nodded.

"I thought you were a myth, or a story told to children, he used to tell us stories of how one day you would make a world of peace and we would just laugh mockingly." Fukasaku bowed in respect.

"Pa, this looks embarrassing coming from you, stop bowing."

Jiraiya said.

He hit Jiraiya with his stick.

"Hey! what was that for?"

Ryuu chuckled a bit.

"Jiraiya boy, the one true sage will be the most respected sage of all time, he said that one day a boy who senses nature in its purest form with no training or without being inside Mt Myoboku or Shikkotsu forest come to learn all senjutsu." Jiraiya's mouth dropped.

"Him?" Fukusaku nodded.

"The only other person who could sense nature itself was the first Hokage Hashirama Senju, but he could sense nature because of his wood release, it connected him to nature itself and Ryuu doesn't have wood release, unless…"

He took out a scroll and gave it to me.

'Follow the instructions on that scroll.' Ryuu nodded and did as he was told.

Nothing happened.

"As I suspected, he's so aligned with nature he can sense all natural energy by himself, what a monster." He said.

"Anyway, your journey is long and I would like to get started immediately." I nodded.

"Alright, lead the way pa!" He nodded.

Jiraiya and I followed, Jiraiya was looking to refine his sage mode while I was trying to become a sage.
