Mirror Ethan

Ethan and Aria stood before the doors, the inscription etched into the wall still echoing in their minds. They knew they had to think carefully about what it meant.

"The truth is not what it seems," Arachne's voice whispered in their minds. "In reflection lies the key. Look not to what you see, but to what is hidden from thee."

Ethan and Aria looked at each other, a plan forming in their minds.

"I think I know what we need to do," Ethan said. "We need to use the reflection to reveal the truth."

Aria nodded. "But how?"

Ethan pointed to the doors. "We need to use one of them to reflect our own image."

Aria's eyes widened. "You mean, like a mirror?"

Ethan nodded. "Exactly. If we can use one of the doors as a mirror, we might be able to see what's really going on."

Aria's eyes scanned the doors once more. "I think I see a way," she said finally.

Together, they approached the blue door, its soft glow pulsing with an otherworldly energy. Ethan hesitated for a moment, then reached out and touched the door.

The door slid open with a soft hiss, revealing a room filled with darkness. But as they stepped inside, Ethan felt a strange sensation – as if he was being pulled back through time and space.

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself facing a mirror image of himself – but it was distorted, twisted and warped like a funhouse reflection.

The mirror-Ethan turned to him, its eyes glowing with an unnatural light.

"Welcome," it said in a voice that was both familiar and yet completely alien. "I have been waiting for you."
