"Lady Margaery, I am glad to see you safe. How have you been since we met?" - Ethan said with a big smile on his face.
Margaery smiled back and nodded.
"Thanks to you, I'm fine. I stayed with my family inside our castle. I wanted to thank you for helping me that day. Do you want to watch the tournament with us?"
Ethan was delighted to meet Margaery again and hear that she was doing well with her family in Highgarden. Margaery's invitation to join them to watch the tournament was met with enthusiasm.
"Of course! It would be an honor to join you and your family to enjoy the tournament," Ethan replied with a smile. "Allow me to go find my companions, and we will be happy to accompany you."
Ethan headed towards where Leandro, Elara and Dario and Sigrid were, who were chatting animatedly about the previous jousts. He explained the situation to them and shared Margaery's invitation.
"Guys, Lady Margaery Tyrell has invited us to join her and her family to watch the tournament. What do you say? Do you want to come?"
Leandro nodded enthusiastically. "Sure, that would be great!"
Elara agreed. "Yes, it sounds exciting."
Dario nodded too. "Of course, let's join them."
With the approval of his friends, Ethan returned to Margaery and several of the Tyrell family's servants. "We are ready to accompany you, Lady Margaery. Thank you for the invitation."
Upon reaching the upper area of the stadium. The tournament could be seen in the background, with the best of views. They were very far away and the people couldn't even see those inside.
Ethan, with a respectful and polite attitude, introduced himself to the members of the Tyrell family in the box. He bowed and spoke in a clear voice:
"Lady Olenna, Lord Willas, Lord Loras, Lady Margaery, it is an honor to be in your presence. My name is Ethan Astaroth, and I wish to express my deepest gratitude for inviting us to join you in this exciting tournament."
Olenna Tyrell, a woman of great intelligence and wit, regarded Ethan with shrewd eyes before responding with a smile.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, young Ethan Astaroth. Margaery has told us much of your bravery and good heart. You are just as brave as your father, may he rest in peace. Such acts of bravery deserve a worthy reward. Tomorrow come to our castle, We will talk about it there. I hope you enjoy the tournament in our company." - said the queen of thorns.
"I appreciate your words Lady Olenna. It will be a pleasure to speak with you tomorrow." - answered the young man.
Willas Tyrell, Margaery's older brother, nodded kindly. "Welcome, Ethan. We're glad to have you here."
Ethan nodded at him. The poor young man, because his father had forced him from a young age to participate in tournaments, was left half crippled.
"The honor is mine to be here" - said Ethan.
Loras Tyrell, known in the future as the Knight of Flowers, showed a friendly gesture. "I hope you enjoy the tournament as much as we do, Ethan."
Margaery, with a radiant smile, added: "Now it starts again. I wonder who will win?"
Ethan's group remained silent, not interfering with the introductions. They were clear about their place, and were not used to dealing with big names.
The tournament organizer resumed the matches.
Ethan continued his conversation with Loras and Willas Tyrell about the combats and the knights participating in the tournament. He was enjoying the interaction with the members of the Tyrell family, although he couldn't help but notice Margaery's glances. He was aware of her presence and the smile on her face gave him a pleasant feeling.
Meanwhile, Olenna Tyrell watched the scene with a spark of amusement in her eyes. The family's cunning matriarch enjoyed the company of young Astaroth and his grandchildren, and she was intrigued by the dynamic that was developing.
The tournament continued, but for Ethan, the experience of sharing the box with the Tyrell family and the lovely Margaery was just as exciting as the jousting taking place in the plaza.
After several fights the winner was decided. Ethan didn't even take it into account, his statistics, despite being a knight from a noble house, were average, Sigrid could beat him with some ease.
The presenter gave the reward, and the main tournament was over. People were shouting and celebrating for the champion's victory.
After bidding farewell to Lady Olenna and the other members of the Tyrell family, the group retired to their inn. Once there, they shared their impressions of the tournament and the interaction with the nobles of Highgarden.
"Well, guys, what did you think of the tournament? Honestly, I wasn't expecting such a low level, but I had a lot of fun watching those "knights" in action." - Ethan said with a smile.
"Yes, it was exciting. Although I'm sure you could have won or gone very far, Ethan." - sayed Elara.
"And don't forget Lady Margaery! Ethan, it seemed like she was watching you all the time. Do you have a secret admirer?" - said Leandro.
"It was interesting meeting the Tyrell family. That Olenna is quite the lady of high society." -Dario commented while he took a drink of beer.
"Yes, Lady Olenna is someone we should not underestimate. And Margaery is very kind." - Ethan responded.
The group continued to discuss their impressions and plans while enjoying a quiet dinner at the Highgarden Inn. They were eager for what the future held for them in the city and how they could make the most of their time in the city.
