Noah's Pov (Part 2 and done)

I didn't go further and looked at the drama that was unfolding.

"Who let that brat Nikolis bring a gun?" I growled as I glared at Nikolis, who was in confrontation with the silver-haired girl, holding a gun in his hand.

I reached into my sleeve and pulled out a gun as well, ready to shoot if needed, but

"Don't do anything..." Ken spoke out, his tone dark and raging. I felt the grip tighten around my shoulder, making me stop in place.

BANG!!

The sound of a gun shot came, and I hurriedly looked ahead.

The silver-haired girl was fine. A fearful squeak came from the side, catching my attention briefly. There were a bunch of girls on the ground huddled up in fear, and there was a bullet embedded in the wall.

"You are pretty daring to shoot at me. Hmm, if he were here, then I wonder if you would even be alive..."

A melodic voice came, which was most definitely from the silver-haired girl. I glared at them. The situation was going from bad to worse, and I couldn't do anything about it.

"Oh well~! He isn't, so I might as well finish things off," she muttered and took out a black folding fan.

My mind raced, and

"STOP RIGHT THERE!"

I bellowed, making the silver-haired girl look in my direction, but her hand holding the black folding fan was slashing toward Nikolis. This situation would become horrible if that folding fan turned out to be a weapon...

And of course, it had to be.

The silver-haired girl's hand moved smoothly, and it cut Nikolis's neck and jaw, making a large wound that would bring him near death.

I wanted to get out of Ken's grip, but I couldn't budge. I glared at the silver-haired girl, who looked past me... No, she looked at Ken and smiled brilliantly, her goddess-like face was just gorgeous.

I snapped out of the daze I had just fallen into. Abd I felt Ken's grip loosen and leave my shoulder. Immediately, I stepped forward, blocking the silver-haired girl who was happily walking towards Ken.

But then I saw a blur, and her black folding fan was on my neck. I widened my eyes and nearly pulled the trigger of the gun that was pointed straight at the silver-haired girl's heart.

I was ready to shoot, and if she had struck me in any way, I would have pressed the trigger, and the bullet would go straight into her heart.

I looked at her wrist, which was held firmly by Ken, who was supposed to be behind me... My heart sank. No normal human could have such speed... meaning Ken was a blessed one... and I, as his father, didn't know of it...

I watched the situation unfold. Ken turned the tables on the silver-haired girl easily, now having her folding fan on her neck with a trail of blood showing.

I looked at the situation and couldn't help but grit my teeth. I was outclassed by power here, both Ken and the silver-haired girl were clearly blessed ones.

((AN: Noah isn't aware that Ken and Eleis are not blessed ones or even have a clue about it yet.))

BANG!

I ignored the conversation they were having and fired, making the bullet miss them but ensuring that they saw it go by. Since they were blessed, they would be able to see the bullet, and of course, they did.

"I don't know who you are, but if you try anything more, I will give an order of execution."

I seriously threatened and glanced at Ken, who had... care in his eyes... No, not just care, but rage as well. My mind raced, coming up with various explanations, but nothing fit, leaving me with only questions.

Why do you care about this girl? Who is she to you? Why do I not know of her...? And what makes you wrathful towards her but with care hidden...?

I had many questions, but these stood out the most, and I felt disappointed, very disappointed. I was his father, someone who watched him grow into what he is now.

Aisa, my daughter, I discovered was a blessed one, and then I started to seek out all the blessed ones to know more. But my son Ken hid it well... I sought out all the blessed ones from the day the blessings were given out, and even now, I am on the lookout for new blessed ones.

And yet... there was one that escaped from my search, and that was my own son. I am disappointed in myself. I looked into Ken's eyes and saw the turmoil that was present there.

I failed him, the third time now. As someone who watched him, I didn't know he had such turmoil and hidden emotions. I really felt pathetic here.

But no matter, I can't bring my family into my duties... it would risk their lives.

"There will be some questioning later on," I whispered loud enough for the two in front to hear.

"Guards, take Nikolis away," I ordered and looked at the silver-haired girl. "I don't know who you are or why all these people fear and obey you... But attacking or harming anyone isn't going to slide here, even if that brat was the one who shot first," I stated seriously, but she smiled.

"Let's take this somewhere else," Ken suggested, and I agreed immediately.

-------------------------

On the balcony of the main building of the VR center.

I looked at the silver-haired girl after the little interrogation. "Who are you?" I asked seriously. I had been talking... well, interrogating them for the past 30 minutes or so, but I had no idea about this silver-haired girl.

"Pft!" She almost laughed and looked away, calming herself a bit.

I looked at Ken, who facepalmed with dead eyes. I knew I should have asked her name first... my mind just slipped because Ken was too confrontational at the beginning...

"My name is Eleis Eyrluna Ysolde. You can say I am an eternal companion with Ken here~!" the silver-haired girl introduced herself. I memorized that name immediately.

"Eleis Eyrluna Ysolde... Never heard of you, but okay. There will be charges against you, but I will deflect them for now and keep tabs on you. Next time, follow the rules. You attacked me. I am unharmed, so I don't care, but next time there will be consequences that you will not be ready to face."

I seriously warned and also helped her out. Ken showed care for her... and I want to know why, but no matter what, I want him to show more care towards this girl.

She might be trouble, but if she is who I think she might be, then I don't care about the consequences. If she is the one for Ken, then that's that.

I left and immediately headed to my office. On the way, I canceled the meeting and ensured Ken was aware of it.

Inside my office were two figures, Siria and Edrea, who had been watching and listening to everything since Ken and I went out of the security room.

"This situation is complicated now," Siria remarked as she got up. "Things got a little too hectic there." She looked outside, directly at the distant balcony where Eleis was standing.

"Siria... are they blessed ones?" Edrea asked, making me look at Siria seriously.

"No, they aren't. I can't sense any kind of divinity from them," Siria confirmed, making me trust the situation a little more. "But don't underestimate them. Both of them are strong. They are nothing compared to beta players like me, but... level 50+ on the second day..." Siria's face darkened. "It took me a whole week to reach level 50, and that was after many risks," she confessed, making my eyes widen.

Edrea frowned deeply. "So... both aren't just anomalies but are absolutely future powerhouses? This is getting too out of hand. First, we have little to no information-"

"Stop there," I cut Edrea off, making both Siria and Edrea look at me. "Ken is my son, and that girl is someone Ken cares about," I stated, making both of them go silent.

"And I won't let either of you interfere here," I declared seriously.

Ken showed care for that girl even though she is trouble. I don't care... as long as Ken cared for her, she would be under my protection.

Siria may be stupidly strong, but if I wanted to bring her down, she would fall. "Siria, I don't want you making any hidden moves, same for you, Edrea... both of you want to protect BlueVail, but for me, Ken is more important," I announced.

I didn't care if either Marshall Edrea, the highest-ranking military officer, or the Queen of VR, the strongest, were my enemies here.

Both had authority and power, but I am not someone who reached my current position with clean hands or by hiding.

If you have ideas about my story, feel free to mention them! This novel's plots are planned but not all minor plots. Any ideas are accepted, even if they are the stupidest things you can think of! (Well, not the overly sexual + fiercely Dark kinds) I will try to add them in!
