~~ LEON'S POV ~~
Why is my life so different from the lives of other couples? it's been two days and I haven't set my eyes on Bella only God knows what she's up to. News has it that the Groupon King has been taken over by Bella and today is mum's birthday and am not even sure she's aware of this because she hasn't been home since morning and it's almost time for the party to begin
" Leon we've arrived " Matt informed and I just nodded... I got out of the car and made my way into the mansion and although it's a small event the media didn't give us a break
" Leon " Mia called and walked towards me
" how are you doing? " I said giving her a hug
" as always am fine " she replied with a smile breaking the hug
" where is mum? "
" hmm she's over there " she pointed towards mum's direction and I just nodded
and made my way toward her
" happy birthday mum " I hugged her from behind and I could tell she was smiling
" thank you my darling " she turned to face me but her smile didn't last long
" why the frown on your face?.. did something happen at work ? " she said worry visible on her face
" it's nothing. I haven't seen Bella in the past two days and it's weird " I said with a sigh
" ohh seems someone is in love " mum winked
" naa am not in love am just worried you know she's kind of a psycho "
" oh I know what a psycho my daughter-in-law is and am also aware you have feelings towards her..but don't worry I won't force you to accept it
Bella is in your room " she said smiling at me.
firstly am not sure about what I feel towards Bella, secondly what is Bella doing here?...
I arrived at my room and took in deep breaths as I felt nervous. it was as if am a teenager who was going to meet his girlfriend. I open the door and the smell of iron welcomed me. I would recognize this smell anywhere it was the smell of blood, I quickly pushed the door open in a panic that Bella might be in danger but the view in front of me was breathtaking.
Bella was dressed in a body-fitted red color gown with her hair done into a messy bun.. she suddenly turned around and a smile spread across her face
" you're such an impatient husband you couldn't even knock " she sighed
" well I taught you... " I couldn't complete my statement as I spotted a body behind her
" what happened here? "
" well we have danger knocking on the door "
~~ BELLA POV ~~
" well we have danger knocking on the door " I informed Leon.
I was hoping that mum's birthday goes smoothly but as they saying goes not all we wish for is guaranteed. I had my suspicions when I noticed that someone was following us, at first I kept calm but when the person tried harming Mia I killed him and something in my guts tells me that Bolin is surely going to create havoc so I shorten the guest list inviting those who I can trust

when I and Leon arrived at the party we were both welcomed by the scene of Penny Quinn hugging mum which I ignored and made my way towards mum
" mum " I called and smiled
" here comes my angel " she said giving me a peck on both cheeks
" happy birthday once more " I wished her
" thank you darling , here's Penny Quinn she was a close friend to Leon "
" we've met before right " I turned to fine penny throwing daggers at me and seems her nose has already been fixed
" yes aunt " she said with a smile which was totally fake
" that's great I just wished Annabelle could be here "
" sorry but she's on a vacation ..I'll be back" I lied and excused myself..
Placing mum on house arrest means ensuring her safety as I can't be everywhere trying to save everyone
" BELLA !!! " I turned to find Kiara running towards me asif her whole world was on fire
" what is it ? " I questioned

" Don Fang is going to make an appearance at this birthday party.. the mole we sent ..their just informed me " she said panting
