Lesson

After the race, the teacher brought us all inside the building where he started explaining what our curriculum would entail during the six years we would be at the Academy for.

There would be a class on taijutsu and ninjutsu 3 times a week including one focusing on hand to hand combat.

There would also be a class about genjutsu basics, along with specific ninjutsu Ninjutsu such as the substitution and transformation technique, classes on chakra control as well as basic subjects such as mathematics and geography Etc…

After that, the teacher started teaching a math class quickly followed by a geography class, finishing up the day with a basic introduction to genjutsu and how they worked.

By the time we had finished everybody in the classroom seemed just about to fall asleep.

Nobody was under the delusion that they were a genius, any longer, on the contrary it seemed as if everybody was now certain of their idiocy.

Even Nobu, although he had understood, the math and geography portion, was stunlocked at how complex even the basics of genjutsu had been, and this was only the first lesson.

For an initiated ninja to be able to manipulate another individual to such a degree was beyond him at this point, and when he checked his stats and saw that his chakra was only at 1, he became certain he would have a tough time with any sort of chakra manipulation.

It made sense, after all when his physique was at 1 he was probably the weakest person here and even by adding 0 .1 point to his physique he was still only second to last on the race so, he wouldn't be surprised if his chakra which measured only 1 point was probably the worst in the class.

He had to find a way to increase it.

Perhaps Chakra would also drop attributes. If it did then anyone trained in either taijutsu or ninjutsu he would get a nice boost. He'd probably get an even bigger one if it was sensei that performed any of these actions.

He really hoped he was able to collect chakra points, god knew he was too lazy to work for it.

After class was over, all the students slowly trickled out of the big Academy building, and started heading towards the entrance where their parents or Guardians would most likely be waiting for them, but as Nobu was about to Round the Corner, he was shoved against the walls of the academy from behind.

" Fancy yourself a hero huh?" smirked Hideki.

The impact with the wall had brought Nobu to his knees, he had completely forgotten I about hideki, but now was not the time to think about that, now was the Time for Action, and although Hideki was much bigger than him, with his Newfound confidence Nobu believe that he was now strong enough to defend Himself.

After all he refused to believed Hideki was 40% stronger than him, and according to his stats if that's how they worked, he should have been at least 40% stronger.

So, mustering up all the courage available to him Nobu dashed towards Hideki with all his might and swung towards his smug face, the connection made the sickening thud and the feedback hurt Nobu's fist but Hideki went down like a sack of potatoes if only for a moment.

The shock of having hit a person for the first time left Nobu stunned, until he felt a hand grab his collar, and his feet being kicked out from under him.

Having no idea what just happened he tried to to use his arms to block his face firmly believing a beating was about to follow.

He would have been right Hideki's goons now piled up on top of him as they ran down kicks and punches on his guarded form.

It was at this moment that Nobu regretted retaliating.

The pain was atrocious, he kept getting hit, unable to react or defend himself at all, all he could do was curl up and take it, I guess he wasn't ready.

For a moment they stopped and Hideki came up to him. I guess he had gotten up, to punch must not have hurt him at all, there was not even a blemish on his face.

" So you did want to act the hero little girl, you thought that just because you started ninja training you would be strong. You were a little girl then and you're a little girl now. Even when you tried acting like a man I barely felt it truly pathetic." Hideky, Accentuated his B movie monologue with a swift kick to Nobu's ribs before walking away with the rest of his boys in what Nobu could only assume was to escape any sort of Retribution that might find them if a teacher saw them in this moment.

Being kids there was no way for Nobu to suffer serious damage at their hands, after all none of them had been trained and they only had the strength of normal children.

Therefore apart from the busted lip, bruised eye and a bloody nose add to that probably a few cuts and abrasions all over his body there was really nothing serious about Nobu's injuries.

As he slowly got to his feet, one would think Nobu would be angry at what just happened, but instead of that he was disappointed, disappointed at how Reckless he had been.

Not even one day after getting his new ability he'd already started getting in trouble he would never have gotten in before.

So although he was in pain all over, Nobu took this as a lesson.

To continue to avoid conflict as much as possible, it didn't matter how strong he got, he knew that there would always be somebody stronger.

At least there was a silver lining to this situation as Nobu looked around, he saw that he was surrounded by attribute bubbles, quickly reaching for them before making his way towards the entrance where no doubt the matron was asking for his presence.

Ding 0.1 Physique gained.

At least he didn't get his ass whooped for nothing.
