Chapter 3: Finding Strength

Daniel listened patiently as Alex poured out his heart, telling him about his encounter with his ex-boyfriend and how it had left him feeling useless and defeated. Daniel listened with empathy and understanding, offering words of comfort and encouragement.

"Alex, you are not useless," Daniel said firmly. "You are an incredibly talented musician, and you have so much to offer. Don't let anyone make you feel small or insignificant."

Alex felt his spirits lift as he listened to Daniel's words. He knew that Daniel was right. He had been allowing his past relationship to hold him back, to make him feel like he was less than he was. But he didn't have to let it control him anymore.

Feeling reinvigorated, Alex decided to make the most of his time in New York City. He spent time with his bandmates, exploring the city and trying new foods. He even met up with some other musicians he had been admiring online, and they ended up collaborating on a song.

As the festival came to a close, Alex knew that he didn't want to leave Daniel behind again. He made plans to visit him in Vancouver, Canada, where he lived, and to see what kind of magic they could create together.
