"Please, let me fly you out! I miss my best friend. Its been two months since I saw you!" Bryce pleaded through my phone. "Bryce, you've been begging me for three days now. When will you give it up?" Jess sighed, "When you let me fly you out." Bryce was adamant and if Jess knew anything about her best friend, it was that you couldn't change his mind. He was like that about Tiktok and look where he was now, living in Los Angeles with his best (guy) friends.

"Yeah, alright. I give in! When do you want me to come?" Jess asked leaving her phone on her bed, so she could grab her science textbooks. "How about tomorrow? You can fly out for the weekend and then fly back on Monday." Jess opened her laptop to check if she had anything planed for the weekend, "Nope nothing to do here. I'm cool with tomorrow." "Perfect!" He smiled at his phone.

"BRYCEEEEE!!!!!" someone yelled in the background, although they couldn't be seen on screen. "Jesus Christ Josh! What the f**k?" He replied back, he had a horrified look on his face. "Okay, I'm gonna let you take care of that. See ya." Jess said trying to hide her laughter at Bryce's facial expression. The call ended, Jess muted her phone and threw it away from her so she wouldn't get distracted. She opened her science textbook, "It's time to study." she mumbled under her breath, even though there was no one in the room.

"Who's the boy?" Reagan asked, Jess didn't even hear her enter their dorm, "What?" Jess asked confused and a little dazed from staring at her laptop for 2 hours. "Who's the boy?" Reagan repeated, "What boy? There is no boy." "Please Jess, I have lived with you for 4 months, I think I know when something's wrong." She replied way to confidently. "There is no boy!" "Please, whenever you're nervous you play with that bracelet that you NEVER take off. Since you don't have any tests coming up it can only be a guy." Reagan was smiling at herself for her amazing detective skills. Jess giggles "Okay there is a boy, just not what you think. My best friend has offered to fly me out to LA tomorrow."

Reagan was searching under her bed for some snacks, "I thought I was your only friend," Reagan teased, "Who's this guy?" "Um... Bryce Hall." The packet of chips in her hand fly through the air making a mess on her new sheets, she was shocked. "Wait! You mean THE Bryce Hall? Like tiktoker Bryce Hall?" "Yep that's him." Jess replied kind of embarrassed, she'd not wanted to tell anyone that she was friends with him cause she didn't want to have to deal with people asking her for his number or anything like that.

Jess explained to Reagan how she and Bryce knew each other. "That's awesome! You're going right?" She asked, "Yeah, he wouldn't leave me alone till I said yes." Jess replied letting out a small laugh thinking about how crazy her best friend was. Reagan helped Jess pack her bag for the weekend, halfway through she got a text from Bryce with an attachment to her ticket.
