Puppy Love

After school.

Naoki aggressively grabs Suzu's bag from behind to turns Suzu around. "Hey. Where's Aya?" Naoki asks. Suzu gasps softly and looks at Naoki with Tetsu, Ryu, and Hirofumi behind him all staring at Suzu, waiting for her answer.

"What the- i thought she went home with you guys?" Suzu asks back with a confused look on her face. Naoki lets her bag go and the guys glance at each others, only for them to look at Suzu again with death glares.

"What the fuck do you mean? She's not here with us now, does she?" Naoki asks again in a more aggressive manner this time.

"She said she went home first, so i thought she went home with you guys like usual. She was quite in a hurry." Suzu answers again in a more docile manner to not anger Naoki even more. The guys look at each other again and then just leave Suzu all alone by herself as they all run out of the school.

Hirofumi already on his phone, calling Aya's phone countless times but she doesn't answer. Naoki releases frustrated grunts while Tetsu and Ryu looks around the school gate to look for Aya.

"It's no good. She doesn't answer her phone." Hirofumi says in a worried tone.

"Maybe she's already home?" Ryu guesses.

"Yeah but all of a sudden? Without us or Suzu? What gives?" Tetsu asks.

"Did she get sick?" Hirofumi guesses that makes them all go quiet at once. Without even saying anything, they all run back home together to check on Aya's house.

Ding dong.

No answer from Aya's house either. Her parents aren't home yet and there's no sight of her in her bedroom on the second floor that can be seen from her house's gate.

"Where do you think she went to?" Hirofumi asks to the rest of them.

"Should we ask Suzu's help to look for her?" Tetsu adds.

"God damn it!" Naoki kicks his foot in the air in frustration while yelling loudly.

"We should plant a gps in her phone next time." Ryu suddenly says. None of them surprise at Ryu's words, instead, they all nodding in agreement silently with their eyes darkened.

Meanwhile Aya somewhere in the city...

Aya looks at Riku across her seat with a curious look on her face while chewing her burger. Riku keeps giving Aya warm smiles while also chewing his burger too.

"What is it, senpai? Do you not like the burger?" Riku asks.

"No. I love it. Thanks for treating me this burger." Aya nods while smiling back at Riku. Riko nods back as his smile gets bigger.

"You're very welcome, senpai. Anything for you." Riku says while flashing a wink at her. Of course it shocked Aya.

But she continues eating her burger while staring at Riku intently, making Riku blushing in embarassment from her constant intense staring. "Do you like me too, senpai?" Riku asks shyly.

Aya didn't hear a word from Riku's mouth since she's so focused on staring at Riku, she keeps thinking how cute and endearing Riku is like a golden retriever.

"Senpai?" Riku blushes even more. Riku takes it as a sign that Aya is so enchanted by Riku's beauty and cuteness. Riku puts down his burger to holds Aya's hands, puts her burger down and then puts her palms on his rosy cheeks.

"Senpai... do you think i'm cute?" Riku asks again that makes Aya gasps softly, blushing a little at the sudden actions.

"Eh?! Eh... y-yes... you're so cute." Aya answers hesitantly while trying to yanks her hands away from Riku's cheeks, but Riku's grasp is so strong despite his appearance.

"Really? I'm so happy... the senpai i like so much thinks I'm cute. This is the best day of my life." Riku kisses Aya's palms that makes Aya gasps louder.

"Eep! W-wait-" Aya manages to get her hands back when Riku was about to kiss her palms again. Riku looks at Aya in confusion.

"What's wrong, senpai? Did i go too far? Was that too much? I'm sorry!" Riku looks at Aya again with that puppy eyes and rosy cheeks in a pleading manner. Aya can't help but melt again at that sight of Riku.

"N-no... it's okay. I was just shocked. I know you want to get to know me better, but, we're not dating yet, okay?" Aya says in confirmation. Riku just nods.

"I know, senpai. Just watch. I'll make you head over heels over me just like how you did with your charms! Hehe~" Riku teases Aya as he picks up his burger to resumes his eating. Aya does the same while staring at Riku again in the same curiosity.

"But, why me? Why do you like me?" Aya asks in confusion at Riku. Riku widens his eyes in disbelief.

"What do you mean? It was love at first sight, senpai. Haven't you seen yourself in the mirror lately about how cute you are? At least you're super cute and beautiful to me!" Riku praises Aya with kind and loving words with a big, warm smile on his face, making Aya blushing slightly.

"Eh? Me? Cute? Really? I mean... nobody has ever said that before." Aya says in a revelation. Riku gasps and pauses his eating.

"No way! You never had a boy told you that before?! So you mean to tell me, you never had a boyfriend?" Riku asks. Aya shakes her head. Somehow this revelation makes Riku head over heels even more. His blush gets pinkier and his smile gets bigger, giddying so hard inside while trying to stay calm.

"Riku?" Aya calls out to Riku in confusion, looking at Riku's reaction makes her wonder what's wrong with Riku.

"I will change that for you, Aya-senpai. I will call you cute and beautiful every single day. I'll make you realize your true worth." Riku says with a determination but loving looks on his face. His tone sounds excited and determined, making Aya blushes again.

"You don't have to..." Aya says while covers her mouth with his hand.

"Don't worry, Aya-senpai. You deserve to hear that." Riku takes Aya's hand to stop her covering her blushing face, and then kisses her palm again while his puppy eyes locked onto Aya's eyes.
