Love At First Sight

"Ak!"

Aya yelps when somebody bumps into her in the hallway of the school the next day. The papers fly away to around her and the person that bumped into her, making her unable to see who's in front of her. So she just helps picking up the papers.

"I'm very sorry!" The person that bumped into Aya gets down on their knees to help Aya with the papers too. Until their hand accidentally brushes against Aya's hand.

Aya looks up at the person, she sees a male student that looks so young and fresh, there's a cheerful aura around him with dark hair and brown, doe-like eyes that sparkles from the sunlight shining upon them. Aya notices the different color on the arm part of his uniform that tells her he's a tenth grader, basically he is Aya's junior.

"It's okay." Aya says calmly to the junior. He freezes in place while Aya continues helping him picks up the papers.

Once Aya collects all the papers, she hands them to the junior but he stays frozen. But he quickly snaps and takes the papers from Aya's hands. "Thank you very much! My name is Riku. Riku Nakamoto!" the junior excitedly just introduces himself out of nowhere. Aya flabbergasted by the sudden introduction.

"Oh, hi. My name is Aya Nagatsuka." Aya tries to being casual despite feeling awkward by the sudden new person who just came into her life. Riku's eyes sparkle more after Aya introduces herself to him.

"Nagatsuka-senpai! Very nice to meet you!" Riku eagerly grabs Aya's hand to shake hands with her, but it only causing him to drops the papers again. And they both have to collect the papers again.

Meanwhile...

Naoki, Tetsu, Ryu, and Hirofumi busy at the school's cafeteria, have been waiting for Aya for their lunch together.

"What takes her so damn long?!" Naoki grunts impatiently. Almost finished his lunch but then a familiar voice can be heard from behind him.

"Sorry, you guys! I was in an accident!" Aya exclaims while sitting in between Naoki and Ryu. Naoki glares at Aya.

"Accident?! Acting like you drove a car here!" Naoki yells. Ryu gently pushes Aya's lunch that they have ordered before her arrival.

"Here." Ryu says gently. Aya just ignores Naoki's words to takes her lunch and then proceeds to eat it.

"Thank you, Ryu! Yum!"

Naoki grunts again while Tetsu, Hirofumi, and Ryu stare at Aya eating her lunch with subtle smirks on their faces. "Eat it slowly." Hirofumi adds.

Riku from a distance, witnessing the whole scene from behind Aya across the room with longing eyes, a little pout, and a small blush.
