A New King

Jordan lay in the soft and incredibly plush bed he was currently sharing with Esdeath. Despite the blue-haired Beauty quietly sleeping next to him he still felt troubled. Despite getting swept up at the moment he shared with esdeath, he still knew that he needed to get stronger and fully assimilate his new powers.

After the fight with Tatsumi, Jordan was left with a mix of emotions. He was thrilled that he had emerged victorious, but he was also frustrated at how limited his strength was compared to how strong he should be. He turned to image training to help him prepare for his next challenge.

With his eyes closed, Jordan imagined himself back in the arena, facing off against Tatsumi again. But this time, the scene was different. Tatsumi had learned from their previous fight, and he was stronger and more agile than before.

Jordan visualized Tatsumi's movements and began to anticipate his every move. He saw the sword coming towards him and deftly sidestepped it, his own sword meeting Tatsumi's blade in a shower of sparks.

Jordan's mind raced as he visualized different scenarios. He saw himself deflecting Tatsumi's attacks and countering with his own powerful strikes. He imagined himself moving with lightning speed, darting in and out of Tatsumi's reach, and always staying one step ahead.

As he continued to train his mind, Jordan felt his muscles tense and his heart rate increase. He was completely focused on the task at hand, and his breathing became deeper and more controlled.

With each passing moment, Jordan's confidence grew. He knew that he had the skills and the determination to face any opponent, no matter how skilled or formidable.

As he opened his eyes, Jordan felt a calm wash over him. He was ready for his next challenge, and he knew that he would face it with courage and strength.

He picked up his sword and began practicing his moves, fluid and precise strokes. He knew that with continued training and dedication, he would become an even more skilled fighter, and he was eager to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

He looked closely at the massive boosts his stats underwent after he had become a Lunarian.

Jordan was more than a little nervous at the idea of taking on the tournament. He was sure that he could match the nameless mob side characters in the tournament but he was sure that if he were to stand against Tatsumi he might lose considering Tatsumi's superior strength and sword skill.

Jordan was contemplating his options when sky chimed in.

Jordan's eyes widened and his lips slowly curled up into a smirk. The coupon from his first mission had completely slipped from his mind.

"Sky, what exactly can I get with this ticket?"

Jordan asked the most vital question in this situation as it would be key in determining what he would use such a valuable item on.

"What exactly does that mean and what items are classified as level 1?"

Jordan's mind was swimming with ideas on what he should get with this coupon

At first, all his mind was filled with was skills like instant mastery of some form of enhancement. Once he got the idea of enhancing his body he decided that rather than obtaining some skill he would either gain a bloodline or change his race.

Realizing that his restrictions would make the possible bloodlines he wanted to get either extremely weak or just unattainable. So he decided to zero in his scope onto changing his race from human to some magical fantasy race that would allow him an explosive boost in power that would allow him to outclass Tatsumi even with the plot armor gods defending him.

After another 15 minutes of dragged-out thinking, he came to a conclusion as to what his new race would be. He remembers the one-piece manga that he would often sneak into his house and read, particularly he remembered a character that was introduced into the manga that had quite a bit of mystique and emphasis around the particular race he was.

His kind was hailed as gods who had supposedly lived above the red line and ruled as such. They mysteriously died out and because he was the last of his kind he was constantly hunted down by the world government.

That character was king one of Kaido's All Stars and a character whose race has allowed him to have extraordinary powers. Just like that Jordan made up his mind, he was going become a Lunarian.
