Segment XXXII | Fight Prep: Vegas Heroes

Later in a dimly lit afternoon in Henderson; Dylan, Azenith, and Jason are sitting on the grassy lawn at Sunset Park waiting for Alyssa, Cassadra, and Monica to arrive. Cassandra walks over to them.

"Hey guys!" Cassandra yelled. Dylan, Azenith, and Jason turn around and see Cassandra walking up to them. The group stood up, hugging her.

"Hey Cass!" Dylan said. Cassandra breaks up the group hug.

"What's the scoop?"

"I'll tell you when Alyssa and Monica get here. I figured something out."

"Ah okay!" Cassandra said. She looks up and sees Monica and Alyssa flying towards them. "Here they are right now."

Monica and Alyssa land on the grass. Monica's dragon wings disappear from her back. Azenith, Dylan, and Jason turn around and look at Monica and Alyssa.

"Hey Dylan, Jason, and Azenith." Alyssa said.

"Hey Alyssa! Hey Monica!" the group said.

"Now that everyone is here. I figured out how to defeat Michele."

"You did?!" Cassadra, Alyssa, and Monica said, shocked.

"Yep. I have to give credit to Azenith. She's the one that figured out how to beat her." Dylan said.

"Aww.. you don't have to thank me, Dylan." Azenith said, blushing.

"Nah, you deserve the praise for helping me, Az." Dylan said, smiling. "All that aside, she figured out what we can do to take down Michele and the mafia for good but it's going to take a lot of power to do since it's energy based."

"What is it? Is it some sort of form based power?" Monica asks.

"It is. It's for angels. It's like an angelic power. It can defeat any Sin demon. This angelic power that I want to try out can kill off Michele."

"But Dylan, you don't use your powers. You can eventually kill yourself. You said it yourself, it's energy based." Alyssa said.

"Yeah, I know." Dylan sparks his angel powers on. Light blue streaks appear on his body glowing. He turns into his hero as blue lightning sparks around him. His wings appear on his back. "Evem if I kill myself from using alot of energy to defeat Michele, I'm going out as a hero. Saving Las Vegas for the better."

He grabs his disc rings.

"Let's try this to the fullest extent." Dylan gets into a fighting stance. "Cassandra can you create a Michele lookalike decoy, please?"

Cassandra sparks her powers and punches the grassy floor. The ground shakes as part of the dirt from the grassy floor grows into a curvy woman who looks like a clone of Lusty Michele.

Jason and Azenith grab their cat weapons.

"We got the first hit, Dylan." Jason said. "Let's go Az."

"Right." Azenith said, they both fist bump each other, turning into their hero forms. They both run towards the clone. Jason swings his staff up to her jaw, launching up to the sky. Azenith grabs her sword. Water surrounds the blade as she leaps up in the sky towards the clone, slicing through the grassy stems. She cuts the clone in half, clicking in her sword, it explodes with a whirlpool of water. Azenith lands as the clone falls back onto the ground, breathing. The clone regenerates its body with the grass as it stands itself back up again.

"Aw damn... bad move." Azenith said.

Alyssa and Cassandra stand in front of Azenith, sparking their powers.

"The grass may be wetter and greener but soon it will be drier and darker when we get done with her." Cassandra said, smirking. Sparks of lightning surround her body as she speeds off towards the clone, throwing multiple punches. She speeds through the clone, shredding and landing onto the grass.

"Lights out explosion!" She yelled as she sped through the clone, lightning streaks left over on the ground, bursting into a ball of light. The power goes off in the park and all over the Sunset area.

"Fire Explosion!"

Sparks of red and blue fire combined, hitting the clone through its body. Alyssa and Monica speeds towards the clone. Alyssa slashes through the clone. She grabs it and throws it towards the sky.

"You go Monica!" Alyssa yelled. Monica summons her dragon wings. She jumps and flies towards the clone. She charges up her fire powers in her mouth, blowing it out, bursting on the clone's body. The grass on the clone became burned up, falling onto the ground. The clone regenerates its body again, still burned up. Monica grabs the clone with her long dragon tail, Throws it towards Dylan.

"Finish her off Dylan boy!" Monica yelled. Dylan swings his disc, making a whirlpool of wind. He starts running towards the clone as he launches himself off the grassy floor, gliding with his angel wings. The clone disappears, Dylan's eyes widened.

"HUH! WHAT THE FUCK?!-"

The clone reappears behind him and punches him back to the ground hard. Azenith, Jason, Cassandra, Alyssa, and Monica's eyes widened in shock.

"What the?!" Azenith said, shockingly.

"HOW DID IT MOVE?!" Jason yelled.

Dylan groans in pain as he tries to get up off the floor, his angel form glitched out. His nose bleeds. The clone grabs Dylan from the back of his neck. The clone sparks its fire powers mixed with electricity powers. The group is continuously shocked.

"DYLAN!" Azenith yelled!

"Give up, Dylan?" The Lusty clone spoked. "You may have worked with your friends to defeat me but you haven't found my full weakness."

"F-Fuck...I-I thought I did." Dylan moaned.

The clone giggled, "Maybe you did... maybe not. But you will never find MY weakness."

The clone lines up her arm where she's going to stab Dylan. As she proceeds to stab Dylan, the clone's body froze up as her arm gets close to Dylan's back. A blue and black dragon with white hair, black dress shirt with white vest, speeds and breaks the Lusty Michele clone as he lands on the clone. Joe stands up, slicking his hair back. Cassie lands onto the grass next to him.

"Joe, Cassie?!" The group exclaimed. Cassie grabs Dylan, laying him on the ground. She grabs a healing rose to put on his chest. She closes his eyes and rubs his head to let him heal.

"Trying to find ways to defeat Michele today?" Joe asks.

"Yeah," Azenith chuckled. "It kind of went... uhhh... bad for the first time."

Joe looks at Azenith, smiling. "Was it bad or is it a way to make me blush again when I first saw you."

"Nooo..." Azenith said, blushing.

Jason steps in front of Azenith, "Yes Joe, it was bad."

"Fair." The group stood silent. Joe looks at the shattered clone and looks up at Dylan. "Did he figure out Michele's weakness with his Angelic powers?" he asks.

"Yeah.. Wait, how did you know?" Cassandra asks.

"It seems like the clone reacted and dodged his attempted attack. Although she didn't react to other attacks, it's clear that attack alone is one that she can easily escape from."

"Easily can escape from?!" The group exclaimed.

Cassie nods. "Michele is really overpowered to the point that whatever you do to her. She can survive it."

"So how can we figure out a way to defeat Michele if she can figure out how to surpass his attacks?" Azenith asks.

"Just a suggestion, you can combine your powers to defeat her. Pretty much an angelic power is a combination of 2 to 5 powers combined." Joe said. Azenith, Jason, Cassandra, Monica, and Alyssa think for a moment.

"But none of us have angelic powers. All of us aren't even from here or even an Angel." Cassandra said.

"That's true but Cassie and I can help you." Joe said.

"Along with other help as well." Cassie said. Two archangels fly towards Sunset Park, landing on the grassy fields. Maddie and Enzo stand up.

"Are we late to the party?" Maddie asks

"Nope. You guys arrived just in time."

The clone of Lusty Michele starts to rise from the grass again. The clone's eyes turn red as it forms into Michele's Wrath demon form. The group sparks their powers again along with Joe, Cassie, Enzo, and Maddie.

"Okay! Here's how we'll do it. Azenith. You and I will start attacking first creating a freezing whirlpool. That way when she is frozen down, Jason and Cassandra will come in for a smash attack." Joe commands.

"Right. Let's go Joe!" Azenith said. Joe and Azenith speeds towards the clone. She punches Michele hard causing her to fly across the park, She follows the clone with water blasting out of the soles of her shoes, throwing water punches towards body. She backflips, kicking Michele towards the sky along with a pool of water flying with her as the whole park is flooded with water. Joe flies over the flooded park, freezing the water under him. He grabs the clone and throws her into the pool full of ice water. The clone pops up in the water, trying to get out. The ice froze up on her body.

"Jason, Cassandra go now!"

Jason and Cassandra quickly speeds up towards the clone. Jason throws his staff at Michele. The clone dodges the staff, Jason appears behind her and hits her in the head, he swings his staff at her jaw, breaking it. Cassandra's electric powers turn into a lighter purple as she swings a punch towards Michele's stomach. A ball of light exploded between the clone and Cassandra. Cassandra flew back towards Alyssa and Monica, breathing, sliding onto the grass. The clone hits a tent beam. A loud bang can be heard across the park. Birds fly away from the noise. The clone gets off from the beam and runs towards Cassandra. Alyssa and Cassie stand in front of Cassandra, grabbing their swords. Cassie runs towards the clone as she summons her rose chains, capturing Michele, throwing her back to the beam. The chain swings around the beam, locking the clone in. Cassie throws roses around the clone, she mounts her swords. Forming her fingers like a gun, her eyes turned pink with a gradient of red. Fire swirling around her arm to her fingers.

"Rose Fire of Destruction." Cassie yelled as the fire burst out of her fingers onto the rose. Alyssa creates a fire beam in her mouth as Monica walks up next to her with spirling fire in her hands. She blows out the fire, creating a flamethrower bomb towards Michele as Monica releases fire out of her hands aiming at Michele, creating an fiery explosion. Maddie and Enzo jump over the explosion charging up their powers while flying fast towards Michele.

"White flame: Flames of Hell!" the Angels yelled, releasing their powers towards Michele, creating a ball of explosion full of white fire. Burning the clone with leftover white flames on her. The group braces themselve from the explosion, smoke surrounds the group. The flower disappears off of Dylan's chest. He wakes up as the smoke clears. Dylan slowly sits up, looking at the white flames.

"W-What happened?" Dylan asks. The group looks at Dylan. Azenith smiles.

"Dylan... We're gonna win this fight."

He looks around, he sees the clone obliterated and burnt to the ground. Dylan smiles as he slowly gets up but he falls onto the ground again.

"Damnit..." Dylan moaned, Azenith and Jason helped Dylan up but blue electrical sparks pushed him away from him. "I forgot... my powers aren't used for angelical use. It can destroy my body into bits."

"Ah shit, I know what this is." Maddie spoke up. Enzo looks at Maddie.

"You do?" Enzo asks.

"Angelical powers are pretty much a powerful source for every angel tier. Even though it takes up a lot of energy. It can eat away your body as well. It depends on every angel tier though,"

"So when you did your angelical power move, how come it doesn't affect you two?" Azenith asks.

"Archangels are used to the pain from angelical powers. They can take the aftershock pain. But as for Dylan unfortunately, if he uses his angelic powers again, there's a possibility that he might end up dying."

The group stays silent after being shocked. Dylan slowly gets up again, his body shakes from the pain surrounding his body. Monica picks him up.

"And let's face it... that's an easy kill for Michele since Dylan is easily in pain after using his angel powers." Jason said.

"He doesn't use his powers, Jason. He's more of a 'weapon' fighter than a 'spark power' fighter." Azenith said. "It might be a malfunction in his powers that he doesn't know about"

"Or it can be that gunshot injury that he took a blow on a couple of months ago might have some effect on his powers." Jason said, Azenith stayed silent.

"Oh that's right... he did say something about any injury that can hurt your powers."

"Guys, I'm fine. It's just a malfunction. I'll be fine. I can fight with you guys." Dylan spoke up. The group looks at him.

"You're sure about it Dylan? You can pretty much die during the fight." Monica asks.

"I'm sure. At least if I die, I died saving Las Vegas from becoming more and more destroyed by Michele and her mafia over the years."

"Dylan don't do it please, you'll die!" Alyssa exclaims.

"I can and I will!" Dylan yelled. He rolls off of Monica's arms, dropping onto the grass. He slowly gets himself off the ground and walks away from the group with his leg limping and dragging against the grass. Azenith follows him.

"Dylan, wait!"

Dylan stops walking. He turns around and looks at Azenith.

"I know you want to stop and kill Michele but your powers..."

"Azenith, I'm serious. I'll sacrifice myself to save anyone. No matter what, whether it'll be you or the group but I'll sacrifice my whole body to save Las Vegas. My hometown. The city I grew up in, the man I am."

"But... your condition?"

"I don't care! I made my decision. I don't want to talk about this when we get home too."

Dylan turns back around, he summons his angel wings and flies away. Azenith. Jason, and the rest of the group look at each other. Silence roams in the park. Jason walks up to Azenith, hugging her from behind.

"What should we do now?" Cassandra asks.

"For now, let's practice tomorrow. We may never know when Michele will show up to fight Carolyn again. She may need the help she can get." Joe said.

"Agreed." Cassie said.

The group nods in agreement. Azenith breathes.

"Dylan.."
