Mao Li

Hicks walks back to the shop where the two thieves are. When he arrives they are gone.

(Hicks)

"Simpleminded fools, cant listen to a single order"

(Argent)

"What will you do when you find them"

(Hicks)

"Well isn't it obvious? They disobeyed me so now they have to die"

(Argent)

"That doesn't seem like a very good reason to kill someone"

(Hicks)

"It may not be a good reason but I'm going to kill them anyway"

(Argent)

"I don't know if killing that thief outside of town changed something in you but you can't just go around killing anyone you like, either way I won't get in your way"

Hicks quickly runs around the town and finds Fan in not time

(Hicks)

"So you guys split up! Well at least your brother doesn't have to see you die!"

(Fan)

"Listen here kid! I have a dagger on me and I'm not afraid to use it!"

Fan pulls out a dagger and charges towards Hicks. Hicks dodges and creates an aura on his hand, the aura turns sharp then Hicks cuts Fan's head off.

(Hicks)

"One to go"

(Argent)

"I'm glad your getting a grip on how it is like outside of a Pavilion but isn't this too much?"

Hicks ignores Argent and starts looking for Bai. He runs into alleys and peers into building but can't find him. Finally after searching for a long while, Hicks finds Bai in a large box hiding.

(Bai)

"Kid get away from me if you know what's good for you!"

Hicks goes up to the box and pulls Bai out throwing him onto the floor.

(Hicks)

"You think I'm scared of you? I already got rid of your brother, another person is nothing"

Before Bai can pull out a dagger, in a flash Hicks dashes towards Bai grabbing him by the neck and snapping it.

(Hicks)

"Alright now that we're done with that it is time to do what I originally came for"

(Argent)

"You're not going to clean up the bodies?"

(Hicks)

"No they deserve to rot without a proper burial"

(Argent)

*You keep saying deserve but they have really done nothing wrong*

Hicks walks to a stall

(Hicks)

"Do you sell lotus flowers here?"

(Stall owner)

"Are you dumb? You do know Lotus are a premium item right?"

Suddenly blood lust appears in Hicks' eyes

(Argent)

"You can't just kill someone just because you don't like what they said. Leave him alone"

Hicks walks away and continues walking and looking around

(Argent)

"You do know you can just go around and pick lotus."

(Hicks)

*Yeah I know but I've never really gone shopping in a town, my parents hid me away from the outside world and when I was able to leave they trapped me in a Pavilion. Not being trapped and seeing normal people is nice for a change*

As Hicks looks around some more he sees a huge tower. It has at least 5 stories

(Hicks)

"Woah what is that place"

(Argent)

"What you've never seen a treasure hall?"

(Hicks)

"Oh that must be the YuLi Treasure Hall, maybe I'll find what I'm looking for there"

Hicks walks up to the entrance of the tower. He is greeted by a servant.

(Servant)

"Sorry young man, we only allow people with money inside"

(Hicks)

"Well you're in luck, I happen to have money with me, now move"

Hicks surrounds himself with a murderous aura to scare him off, it works and the servant backs away leaving him a way to enter.

Hicks walks around and looks at all the things they have

(Argent)

"You can sense that right?"

(Hicks)

"Yeah there is some kind of powerful magic here but I don't know where it's coming from, not that it matters, I'm here for the lotus and ginseng"

(Random Person)

"Woah Look it's Mao Li the owner of the Treasure Hall!!"

Hicks looks to where the person is pointing and looks at a balcony where an old man and the servant from earlier are standing.

(Mao Li)

"Please don't mind me, I just heard there was a small disturbance"

Mao Li glares at Hicks but Hicks just goes about his business. Mao Li walks down a flight of stairs and ominously walks around. He slowly makes his way to Hicks until Hicks walks towards him and pretends to bump into him.

(Hicks)

"Oh no! I'm sorry Master Mao Li. I wasn't paying attention and accidentally bumped into you. I hope you can forgive this disciple!!"

(Mao Li)

"Young Man... follow me"

Mao Lib starts walking away and Hicks tries to make a run for it, then out of nowhere two cultivators appear in front of him blocking him from leaving. Mao Li glares at Hicks once again but this time Hicks really feels the terror coming from the old man.

(Hicks)

*I'm gonna kill this fossil*

(Argent)

"HAHAHAHA, good luck killing someone more than 10x stronger than you!!! HAHA!!"

(Hicks)

"Shut up"

(One of the Cultivators)

"Uh I didn't say anything but okay"

Hicks follows Mao Li to a room on the second floor. Before he enters the room he looks around and sees a ton of herbs.

Mao Li sits in a chair and stares at Hicks

(Mao Li)

"Young Man, I notice you are at the Peak of Qi-Foundation, am I wrong?"

Hicks glares at Mao Li

(Hicks)

"Yes I am"

(Mao Li)

"I also realized you're meridians are blocked. You need some herbs to clear them"

Hicks gets shocked

(Argent)

"I'm working my lucky magic if you couldn't tell"

(Hicks)

*What the, I thought Argent saying he would bring me luck was bull crap*

(Argent)

"BULLCRAP?!?? HOW DARE YOU!!!"

(Hicks)

*Sorry, I haven't really been feeling lucky lately*

(Mao Li)

"I'll give you 20 ounces of Lotus, and a 10 year old ginseng"

(Hicks)

"Sorry yo trouble you but is the lotus you will give me older than 2 months?"

(Mao Li)

"Naturally!! Any younger and they wouldn't do anything for you"

(Servant)

"Master! What are you doing?!? He is the one that was causing trouble earlier!"

(Mao Li)

"Idiot do you not recognize his attire? He is from the Moonlight Dust Pavilion"

(Servant)

"Ah you don't mean THE Moonlight Dust Pavilion that helped the Treasure Hall again it's reputation?"

(Mao Li)

"You're fired, never show your face around here""

(Hicks)

*Argent, isn't firing him a little much?*

"Not me man, that's his choice"

(Mao Li)

"Prepare the lotus and ginseng, also prepare a bath for him"

(Hicks)

"No it's fine I can just take it home"

(Mao Li)

"Please I insist"

(Hicks)

"Why are you favoring me so much?"

(Mao Li)

"I don't know what you mean"

(Hicks)

"Hm so you're not, I sense great thing coming from you and I want to gain your favor"
