Prologue: Part 2

Shailin woke up. She was laying on a crappy piece of cardboard. She notests that splattered around the cardboard was blood. A man beaten and torn up lay on the side. For a minute she feared it was her brother but with a closer look she found it was not.

"Good." She thought, "But where am I? This isn't 2018."

The tapestry on the walls was newly polished…GOLD?! Was this 3034?! No, the design was not even close to what she thought was the "future". She looked closer at the cardboard and saw it was paper, heavy paper.

She tried to stand up; but saw her legs were badly hurt. They looked like they were torn up with a knife. Her arms were bruised as well.

"Hello?" She asked to the open air, but no one responded.

She got up even though her legs were throbbing with pain. She ran up to the door of this place, it was unlocked!
