School

On the way to school I used the inspect skill on the mom. The inspect skill was something that was only unique to me. It allowed me to see other people's states.

My eyes glowed blue and a soft blue flame started emitting from them.

She caught a glimpse of me staring at her. I quickly turned the skill off. "Did your eyes just glow blue" she said out loud in a laughing tone. "Perhaps you will awaken a water attribute or maybe even a fire attribute" she said. "Perhaps" I said to her. Not bad I thought, at least she wasn't a complete weakling. I had expected her levels to be way lower. Perhaps she has some use plus that healing ability would come in handy.

"We're here" she said, smiling at me. Quin couldn't help but admire the building. It was huge towering over the trees around it. It was in the middle of some sort of forest.

"Well I have to get to work we will probably have a bunch of injuries at the hospital already" she said ! Of course she was a nurse remembering the hosts past memories. "Well have a good day" she said as Quin got out of the car.

As soon as he arrived at the entrance he was told to head to the gymnasium. When Quin arrived he saw there were hundreds of kids around his age standing in single file order in a straight line. He didn't want to use the inspect skill on them because it would attract attention. Whenever he used the skill his eyes would change colour and soft blue flames would start emitting from then. After waiting in a line he realized what they were doing. They would tell the student to place their hands on a orb and whatever colour appeared it would be their attribute and whatever number appeared on it would be their level. After waiting in line for whatever seemed like for eternity it was his turn. He placed his hand on the orb and a bright golden light appeared making the whole room light up. Half of the orb was golden while the other half was black.
