*Let's go to the bathroom together

Vira still couldn't believe where she was right now.

Her husband had left her alone in their new home. Yes, a condo unit with a very large size, two floors.

On the ground floor, there was a living room with sofa furniture and a viewing room that looked so comfortable and modern, complete with a living room and kitchen. The newlyweds' bedrooms were upstairs, connected by a minimalist-style staircase. She had spent several hours in this comfortable condo and still felt amazed.

"Should I be pleased or troubled by this marriage?" she asked herself, picking up a magazine from the rack near the sofa. She held a fashion magazine in one hand while the other hand cradled a cup of warm chocolate. She landed on the soft sofa like a hostess.

She had stored all of her belongings according to Vino's instructions, and now she wanted to relax while enjoying her hot chocolate and the pretty pictures in the magazine.

Who would have thought that Lisa's trap would bring her to this place?

She had already showered and dressed neatly, waiting for her husband to come home from work. Previously, Vino had sent a message asking her to tidy up because they had an event tonight.

Not long after, the door opened, and Vira put the magazine on the table to welcome the person who had returned home. She guessed exactly who it was—Vino, her handsome husband.

She felt uneasy about how to greet her husband, who looked exhausted from work. Honestly, they didn't even know each other that well.

Watching his wife just freeze in front of him made Vino furrow his brows. The man held out his bag and pointed at his tie.

Vira didn't seem to understand her husband's instructions. "What?" she asked in surprise. She couldn't quite grasp the hint. She had watched a TV drama about how a wife should greet her husband after he comes home from work, but she was uncomfortable doing all that.

"How long are you going to stand there? Hurry up and help me carry my bag. And this tie... this thing is choking my neck," Vino muttered as he took off his shoes and stepped tiredly toward the sofa, where he flopped down.

Vira took Vino's shoes and neatly placed them on the shelf. She fiddled around with Vino, who was sitting on the sofa.

Vino closed his eyes for a moment while muttering. "You didn't need to tidy up my shoes. You could have helped by taking my bag to our room and helping me take off my clothes." He got up from the sofa, leaving Vira, who was dumbfounded.

"The housework will be done by the housekeeper. She will come tomorrow. You're my wife, so just do what a wife is supposed to do."

What? Vira blinked a few times. A wife's job? What was that? She was confused.

If she didn't have to clean the house and do other duties, then what was she supposed to do as a wife?

Vino, who had already started climbing the stairs, turned around and looked at his wife, still stunned downstairs. "Hey, come on! We have to go to a family event. You need to help me get ready!"

"Oh, okay..." Vira took her husband's bag and followed him upstairs.

In her head, she wondered: A wife's job? What was that?

When they arrived in the room, it was much tidier and more comfortable after Vira had cleaned. She had changed the bed covers, selected a matching carpet, and everything was pink.

"You changed all this?" Vino asked in surprise.

"Yes..." Vira replied proudly. She liked the results of her work. "I thought the gifts and their contents were necessities for the room. Don't they look beautiful?"

Vino didn't answer. He didn't care about the pink all over the room. "I'm sure the parcel was also delivered with the lingerie," he softly shook his head. He could guess who had sent the strange gift.

"I want to take a bath," Vino said, then collapsed onto the long sofa in the room.

"Go ahead. You can shower," Vira replied casually, as she also lay down on the side of the bed.

Vino lifted his head from leaning against the sofa wall. He turned to his wife with an unfulfilled expression.

"Why?" Vira asked, her face light. She felt she hadn't done anything wrong.

"I'm so tired. Get me some warm water and wash my feet!"

What? Vira was shocked at Vino's request.

"What did you say? I have to wash your feet?" she asked, mistrusting the absurd request.

While leaning his head back on the back of the sofa, Vino nodded. "Come on, we need to get ready for a family dinner," he murmured.

"Yes, but... why do I have to wash your feet? You can walk by yourself! Wash your own feet! I'm all dressed up, why are you asking me to do that?" Vira asked, her tone annoyed.

Vino turned his head, seeing his wife's annoyed face. "So, you don't want to do your job as a wife?" he asked in a slightly compelling tone.

"Since when is washing feet a wife's duty? You're a healthy person, you can wash your own feet!" Vira replied.

"Fine if you don't want to. Maybe I should just take a shower and bathe myself," he mumbled.

"Yes, that's better! I'll prepare warm water so you can soak... not only your feet but your whole body—up to your brain!" Vira moved from her position with an irritated expression.

Vino giggled. Before Vira could leave him, he had already stood up and approached her, blocking her way.

Vira sat back down, surprised to find her husband suddenly bowing in front of her. Blocking her path, he asked, "What do you want?"

Vino gave a small smile—small, but troublesome in his wife's eyes. "I'm someone who doesn't like rejection!" He lowered his head a little, making their faces so close.

"I'll bathe and soak in warm water, and you'll wash and scrub my back!" Vino grinned.

Vira shook her head, eyes wide. "You don't like rejection, and I don't like being forced!" she protested.

Vira got up and pushed her husband's shoulder a little with her finger, planning to leave.

Snatch!

It wasn't that easy, dear.

Vino grabbed his wife's wrist. "Let's go to the bathroom together. Don't be in a hurry."

What was this? Vira tried to move, trying to escape her slender waist from her husband's arm.

"Let me go!" she begged with a drained face.

Vino smiled and then lowered his head so close to her ear.

Vira could feel the strength of Vino's embrace, the warm breath hitting her shoulder.

Vino took a deep breath, smiled, and purposely teased his wife.

"After you do your job as well."

The sound of their hearts racing filled the room.
