Chapter 14: Anthora

“Lycus.” My voice was threatening but it seemed that Alpha Lycus was not bothered by it.

He walked toward me, and I took a step back until I hit the tunnel walls. He moved close and pinned me to the wall. “Your Highness, is there something you would like to share with me?” His voice sounded so seductive that I felt I must have misread it.

My eyes widened and I hissed at him, “No.”

My body started shaking and Alpha Lycus involuntarily moved closer and put his arms around me.

"You're shaking,” Alpha Lycus whispered. I stared at him in wonder and I could feel the blood in his veins pumping.

"Come here." He pulled me to a corner and then pulled me down and I ended up lying on his chest.

"Is it comfortable?" he murmured into my ear.
