The Calm Before

It had been three days since the hunt. They had spent their time sunbathing, in the pool, and exploring their new sexual relationship. Margo had realized when Cora had gotten up to wash in the bathroom that something was amiss. While Cora had been busy overwhelming Margo with sensations with her power, she had accidentally taken Cora's virginity.

Margo felt terrible but Cora hadn't cared the way she thought she would. It was Margo's anyway, and she was glad they were over that stumbling block. She didn't miss it the way she thought she might. Cora didn't feel robbed of anything.

Margo had calmed down once Cora explained that she was happy they didn't need to tiptoe around the subject anymore. She had once thought things needed to happen a certain way for the end result to be valid. Now she realized that the way she felt about Margo was valid no matter what anyone thought.
