Twenty two

It was night and quiet as Eva made her way to the school's lake. She was wearing her shorts with a T-shirt and flip flops. 

    Aside the annoying sounds of crickets, her feet made crunching noises on the twigs she stepped on. 

    She sees Jared sitting face down as he stared at the water. His leg was hunched up Infront of him, his knee close to his jaw while the other was stretched out before him. 

    She sits next to him, dragging her knees up to her chin. 

    He didn't even look at her, he said curtly. 

      "We don't have training session today"

  "So I need an invitation to talk to you. You've been literally avoiding me today" She turned to him, tearing her gaze from the crystal blue water. "Did I do something wrong"

    "Why don't you ask yourself that question princess" He said harshly. 

    She furrowed her brows trying to really remember what wrong she had done to him but she couldn't.
