It's nothing

It looked like after what happened, the students of Young Warriors academy seemed to accept Eva as their classmate not bothering if she was a witch or anything but they were still cautious around her.

But people like Fiona and Simone still loathed her mainly because they were jealous of how beautiful she was.

For the present time, Eva Harris was the prettiest girl in school throwing Simone from the top to second.

During biology class, Miss Terra let her go see the school nurse to bandage her forehead again which Eva had to change everyday till the wound on her head heals.

During these past few days, Davis had succeeded in making life miserable for her and he made sure to always sit behind her to do so.

If he wasn't pulling her hair every now and then, he was kicking her from underneath her chair and this was when she was either scribbling rubbish in her book or when she was dozing off.

He was acting like an annoying pestering fly and the worst part was that no one asides Alen saw how the scheming devil annoyed her in class.

As she stood up to head to the clinic, she made the worst decision of her life by glaring at Davis before leaving. He was chewing a gum and he was giving her a calm smile that scared her. When he smiled at her like that, he was up to no good.

She leaves the class and heads for the clinic. When she enters, she sees Nurse Lily injecting something into Jared's left shoulder. His shirt arm had been drawn up to his shoulder exposing his strong muscled arms.

She couldn't help starring as he winced when Lily took out the injection, unknowingly flexing his biceps as he tried to adjust to the pain.

"Miss Harris you're here" Lily said which made Jared look at her causing Eva to snap out of her reverie.

She laughed nervously when she saw Jared frowning at her as if to say

'Were you looking at me the whole time'

"What's that" Eva said coming to sit beside Jared on the clinic bed looking curiously at the green liquid which was injected into his body.

"It's nothing" Jared said quickly rolling down his shirt arm and buttoning the the ends of his wrists.

As Lily starts taking off her bandage, Jared stayed there watching as she exposed the wound on her forehead.

Jared somehow felt a bit bad for her after what happened so he tried avoiding her most of the time these days so seeing the fresh wound now, made him to pity for her again.

He stands to leave but she holds his wrist suddenly.

He turned and frowned at her.

"Sorry" Eva said removing her hand quickly. "But I want to talk to you. Can you wait for me"

"I'll be late for class" He replied curtly about to leave again.

"Please"

Said the soft voice which made him pause.

He rolled his eyes.

"Be quick about it" He said in a demanding tone.

When nurse Lily had bandaged her head again, she stepped out walking side by side with Jared.

"So what is it you want to tell me"

"Jared" She suddenly stopped and faced him making Jared to face her as well. "I want you to train me"

Jared raised a brow.

"What?"

"I feel like I'm not getting enough training from battle ground sessions. I want you to train me"

He moved dangerously close to her which made her step back but she looked fearlessly into his eyes as if challenging him.

"Little witch, what did I tell you about crossing your limits with me. I'm only but your classmate and we're natural enemies at that. Why would you think I'd stoop so low to train a dunce like you"

Eva pouted "I'm not a dunce"

"Really ? Words got out that your notes are filled with rag drawings and you fail every test that comes up every single time. So far you're the worst student academically and worse....you don't even know how to handle a sword properly..so tell me why won't I think you're dumb"

Eva rolled her eyes.

"Okay maybe it's like that because I never really liked school or anything..."

He lowered his head and smiled when Eva's gaze fell on his lips.

"So that's why you like getting into trouble in other schools. You're sort of a bad girl" He whispers into her ear. "I like that"

Eva's knees trembled as she forced herself to step back and glare at him.

"But that doesn't mean I'm not an aspiring student okay, I'm determined and I'm sure if you teach me, I can learn how to fight in less than weeks"

Jared rolled his eyes

"Why don't you ask Davis then" His voice was a sneer as he called that name. "He defeated me once. So he's more experienced than I am"

"No way" Eva said seriously. "He had the upper hand because of his sword" Then without thinking she grabbed his arm. "I want you to train me not him. You're better in this kind of thing. Beside he is a proud peacock..I could never ask someone like him"

Feeling pleased with what she said, he gently drew his arm from her desperate grip and said.

"Meet me at the lake behind our school tonight..."

Eva frowned

"I was thinking we could train on Saturdays ...in the morning..."

"Do you want to train with me or not" He asked, annoyed

"Y..yes!!" She replied quickly hoping he won't change his mind.

"Then do as I say. Don't keep me waiting" Then he looked at her short skirt and her cheeks burned up when his gaze fell on her exposed upper legs.

He looked at her.

"If you wear something like this to train with me...I might be forced to take advantage of you"

With parted lips she watch him walk away, hands in pockets, his tie around his head and she couldn't do anything but blush at his words.

As she bowed her head blushing furiously while cursing him, calling him 'Shameless' and other words , Jared cast a quick glance at her again and smiled before leaving.
