"Chavu look, a candy stand," Andre pointed at a stand with various sugary treats on offer, and Chavu slithered to it.
"What would you like?" Chavu might not give his gnomes any alcohol, but he indulged them, when it came to candy.
"A caramel apple," Andre said. The seller blinked at the gnome, whose head was as big as the apples on offer.
"Eh, your child might not be able to finish one. How about this cotton candy? It is just as good," the woman showed them cotton candy on a stick, and Andre sniffed it.
"It does smell good," the gnome had to admit.
"One cotton candy, then," Chavu said, and he paid the one silver coin that was written as the price for the stick of the treat.
"Here you go. Eat it before it melts," the woman handed the candy, and Andre took a bite out of it. Some of it stuck to his nose, and he sneezed.
"It is good. Chavu, do you want to take some?" Andre offered Chavu the stick, who took some and ate it.
