Part 2:8

Tugul had indeed seen something useful; a shallow ridge lined with jagged rocks and boulders across its lip. It was a shallow gully fifty feet wide that gently sloped up into a low rise on the far side. It was the perfect spot to set an ambush. If Seth was correct, Brack and his men would pass below the ridge as it was the easiest and most direct route across the plateau.

“Here’s the plan,” Ben said, in hushed tones. “When they come along from that direction,” he said pointing, “We’ll wait until they’re basically beneath us, then we’ll spring the trap.” He tapped the boulder in front of the orc. “Tugul thinks we should be able to roll these big rocks over the edge and onto their heads. Once he’s done that, we’ll pelt them with rocks.” A wicked grin spread over his face. “Big rocks.”

“Rocks?” Seth asked, his voice full of doubt. “These are fully armed knights. You might as well throw flowers at them.”
