The Lady is a Vilainess

“Even if I am a daughter of a count, I am still far more noble than the half bred bud like her.” Half bred meaning to purity of her blood a noble of Seok. The aristocratic faction were against it, the noble blood of the Marquis would be tainted by foreigners, but then, the young Altan did not falter and fought them head on. It was then Dietrich felt pitiful of his love for Selena, he is of royal blood and did not have the courage to fight for his love. Still thankful that his first love found happiness with his most trusted friend has been the consolation for him.

“It’s fine brother, I heard that you stand up for me and mother.” At these times, Azure thought that Aries' younger sister was more mature than him.

“But they… it is not right…” He felt sad for her.

“Be careful and do not let go of your sword okay?” That ended their conversation as he saw Arissae greeted the royal highness and prince, they had a separate dining together followed by several knights. What bothered him was that even Sir Jonas, the captain of the knights, escorted them.

Soon enough, news that there was an attempted assasination within the Marquis mansion spread not long after the party ended. The Callix knight responded quickly and seized the mansion. Worried about his friend and Arissae, Azure went back to the mansion.

The strong aura intimidated the Count of Zurrock and the rest of his accomplices, the young son of the Marquis is fighting along the knights and are immobilizing the assassins. The Prince was left to defend and protect the young Arissae, while the King itself wielded his sword.

“Count Zurrock! You dared to attempt treason on my daughter's special day!” Angered, Marquis Altan knocked out the masked swordsmen and then pointed the tip of his blade to the count’s throat.

“You have no shame, tainting the Zurrock’s noble name, your predecessor must be ashamed of you.” King Dietrich reprimanded the count as he was getting arrested by the knights of Schauss. Soon the Callix knights arrived and seized the rest of the assassin and traitor knights.

“It wasn’t me who tainted the noble blood of this kingdom! Those halfbred are sore eyes in this noble kingdom! Yet, your royal highness supports the marquis' ideals!” It was indeed the fear of the conservative nobles, the close minded group who believed that only pure blooded Seok nobles could reign with power.

“And for that reason you committed treason and dared to kill your king? Impudent!” He slaps the face of the count that Arissae was surprised by.

“You will regret this…” With one last final threat the count screamed, he was known to be a normal knight in his prime, but suddenly his aura went mad and was able to lose the grip of the knights. He runs forward pushing the prince before Arissae.

From the very start, it was the Marquis siblings they were targeting with his knife about to thrust forward her, Arissae panicked. It was not on her contingency plan.

Blood flows the floor and Arissae gasps in fear with the flooding dark liquor.

“Little Aris--- are you fine?” With a pained expression, Azure who came looking for his friends was stabbed instead by the count.

“Capture him now!” The King ordered and the count who lost his wits was suppressed.

“Brother Azure!”

“Azure, are you an idiot!” Aries runs toward his sister who is hugging the numb body of his friend.

“Aries, the knife is poisoned with Farabella.”

“W-what are you certain!?” Aries' face turned pale.

“Brother Aries, what is that? Do we have an antidote?” It was the first time she heard of it.

“T-that can’t be! You are to become a knight Azure!” Frantically, he immediately called for a doctor and the rest cleaned up the scene.

Arissae learned the Farabella poison, paralyzes the body, it may cause the person to be crippled or comatose, it is the same poison mixed on the wine. If it had been drunk by the Marquis he would be crippled as it has stronger effects on adults. Since Azure is still young, the body neutralizes its effect, however the muscle that was cut off by the knife might have damaged his reflexes, thus, wielding a sword will be painful.

“How can this be?” Arissae cried, she wanted to save people in kind ways.

“Do I have to be more evil than them in order to save them?”

It was then, the lady became a villainess.
