Plan (ch.10)

After seeing the news about Karina's family,

Mikaela ran towards her brother's bedroom.

Saturday Morning..

"M'lady! Slow down!" A young maid pleaded.

Mikaela glanced at her and smiled.

"Sorry! It's very important!" -Mikaela

"Still! *Huff*" -Young Maid

She finally reached his room, after catching her breathe she knocked at the door.

*Tap *Tap

Footsteps from the other side of the door was heard.

'He's awake' -Mikaela 💭

*Click

*Creek*

"Lia?" Her brother peeked at the door with damp hair.

"Why are you here?" -Harvey

"There's something I'd like to ask!" Mikaela snickered, pushing the door.

But Harvey stopped it.

"Hey! Atleast let me wear my robe!" Harvey insisted.

Mikaela was strong, so strong that her brother had a hard time stopping her.

"*Sigh*Fiinneee." -Mikaela

She finally let go of the door.

*Close*

Harvey dashed onto his walk-in closet, grabbing the closest robe he could find.

A few minutes later...

*Creek*

The door opened.

Her brother took a bath earlier, with wet hair and a lose robe. His fair white skin, wide chest and 6 pack abs can be seen.

"Wooow~" Mikaela teased.

She looked at the young maid beside her almost frozen in shock.

Due to embarrassment at the same time disgust, Mikaela pushed his brother inside.

"Stay there!" She pointed at the maid.

*Bang*

"Brother! Don't go out wearing your robe! Look at the maids drooling all over you!!" She babbled.

Her brother didn't bother and sat on his Diamond Encrusted Sofa. She followed but sat on the opposite side.

*Click *Click

While twisting his rubic cube, she began to ask questions.

"So~ what happend to Karina's family?" She curiously asked.

*twist

"Well...*Click* I saw your recordings, you sent it to me...Right?" He asked.

Mikaela snickered and leaned closer to reach the sweets on the table.

*Click

"Well yeah? *bite*" Her eyes widened with delight.

Mikaela really loved her sweets, therefore her brother keeps a few in his room.

"But I'm not the *chew* one who *Gulp* sent it!" She kept on munching the sweets while talking to her brother.

He laughed a little seeing his sister enjoy the sweets he bought.

"Wait before all that.. *POINTS* This one's good!"

*Pfft

He shook his head and laughed.

"I bought this one on Switzerland, it's Guayasamín chocolate." He explained.

*Twist *Click

He finished his cube and placed it on the table.

He sat comfortably and ask Mikaela.

"So who sent it?" He persistently asked.

"Well, my deskmate! he has my phone the whole time. I'll ask for it later!" She replied.

"I used my spare one to check the news." She added.

Her brother's ears tingled the moment he heard the word..

"HE?" His tone slightly changed.

Realizing it, she immigration stopped chewing and looked at his brother.

"So. Who's HE?" He repeated.

"He's *Gulp* m-my deskmate!" she repeated with a hint of hesitation.

"Why does he have your phone then?" -Harvey

"I gave it to him yesterday, since he likes sleeping I told him to voice record everything." -Mikaela

"How does SLEEPING relate to any of this?" He asked.

"..." -Mikaela

Seeing his sister preventing any eye contact, he changed topic.

"How did you know, that things would go that way?" -Harvey

Mikaela snickered and signaled her brother to come closer.

"I planned it~" She whispered.

They returned back to their sits and continued the conversation.

All this time, Mikaela knew that things would go that way.

The very moment she felt that strong gaze, made her wonder. (ch.5)

Narrator:

*Flash back*

She was fully aware that Karina might do that. That was also the reason why she kept on leaning and peeking into Luis. She knew that Karina likes Luis, and that gave her a very nasty idea.

That one time where they were the only ones left in class. She woke Luis up, and they ended up talking.

Karina was at the door listening into their conversation.

"B...i.tch.." Karina whispered.

But due to Mikaela's heightened sense of hearing, she heard her whispers.

*Tap *Tap

The moment Karina she left.

She looked back to Luis and requested something.

"Hey let me ask you a favor, can you take my *grabs* notebook to our math teacher. I see that your's is still there." She asked.

He nodded and took her notebook aswell.

"See you later." He replied.

The day before that, she asked for her butler to do a background check on Karina's family just in case things get out of hand. And she saw Karina's mother, who owns a small clothing company.

She proceeded to place her lunch bag at the end of the table.( Her first plan was supposed to be accidentally bumping into Karina but that failed and instead her lunch bag was thrown.)

That's the time Karina threw her lunch bag.

But she didn't actually expect Karina to throw her lunch bag, which made Mikaela very angry. (She didn't tell his brother this part)

The whole reason why Luis was late, is also because of her small favor.

That time, when Mikaela sat beside him. He leaned and asked.

"You do know that Karina's family is rich, right?" He whispered.

"Yeah" She replied.

"So what are you gonna do about? Her mother is quite feisty." He snickered.

Mikaela didn't reply and smiled.

'You will see' -Mikaela 💭

Fast forward before Karina's mother entered their classroom.

Mikaela also looked onto Karina's mother's schedule.

Since the report *Background check* was only from yesterday, the school meeting was written.

That's when Mikaela secretly asked Luis to hold her phone on record, while he was sleeping. And asked to send it to a guy named Harvey on her contacts.

He surprisingly agreed, as she handed her phone.

Everything was planned by her, expect for the boy who pointed.

Even though Luis really wanted to help Mikaela, she gazed onto him asking him to stay still.

Past forward to the present...

"Yeah that's what happened~ I expected her to slap me~" She smiled.

Her brother was amazed by the fact that she planned it all before hand.

'Your finally learning manipulation, huh?' -Harvey 💭

"I thought sweets was the only thing that fills your brain" He laughed.

Her expression darkened and look at him with a sharp gaze. But that didn't last long, as she suddenly remembered something.

Mikaela suddenly paused for a moment and asked her brother another favor.

"Brother, can I...invite my teacher here?" she hesitatingly asked.

He was surprised but at the same time not.

"I thought you wanted to keep your identity a secret?" He asked.

"Well I think that old man would be useful to us." -Mikaela

"Afterall..He protected me, even though he knew that, that woman was rich" -Mikaela

"These days, only a few would do that" she added with a hint of satisfaction.

Both brother and sister never forgets to return the favor, even if the other party didn't ask for it.

They are kind to their allies and the opposite when it comes to their foes.

"Fine, ask for Ronald to invite him."

He stood up and fixed his robe.

"Let's go Mikaela" He called.

"To where?" She asked.

"I'll bring you to Dubai shortly, I already asked your school to give you a few weeks leave." He added.

Mikaela smiled with joy and ran outside his room.

She looked back and shouted

"I'LL PACK MY BAGS NOW!" She waved her hand.

Hi! Mikaela's plan didn't go as she wanted to, but she didn't tell that to her brother. Since the results were still the same, the only difference is that she dragged Karina on the floor (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)
