Lein's Ascent to 12th Rank

One hour after the opening of Lein Island, more than 10,000 people had already arrived, either using the portal or coming directly with their own islands.

Currently, his next goal was to become number one on the event leaderboard. He was curious about the leaderboard prizes and the gold chest. Besides him, Laras and Old Man Haikal had also left their main islands to increase their points.

The lion tried to block with its fire staff, but Lein's attack was too swift. Lein's light sword cut the fire staff in half, and with the next quick move, he plunged his sword into the lion's heart. The lion roared in pain before finally falling to the ground, dead.

However, shortly after the fire lion's demise, another protector monster appeared.

The next protector monster had the head of a shark. This monster had the ability to create an ocean within a 100-meter radius.

Lein, initially confident, soon found himself in trouble when the monster created an ocean within a 100-meter radius, trapping him in water. Struggling, Lein tried to regulate his breathing and find an opening to attack.

The monster glided quickly through the water, attacking with its sharp teeth. Lein managed to dodge several times, but small wounds began to sap his stamina.

In a desperate situation, Lein decided to use his second skill, Sky Shattering Slash. With a powerful strike, Lein created a 100-meter long sword aura that shattered the monster's defense. The attack ignored 50% of the enemy's defense and healed Lein by 50% of the total damage dealt. The shark monster was split in two, and the ocean vanished, leaving a rejuvenated Lein.

"Haha... these void monsters have some bizarre attacks," Lein said, catching his breath. He was quite surprised by the Red Shark's skill that created an ocean within a 100-meter radius. It would have been fatal if his attributes were the same as the shark's.

Lein continued searching for stone islands with void monsters to catch up on his kill points.

The leaderboard didn't show exact positions due to the diversity of talents and items possessed by the sovereigns.

Before sleeping, Lein read several messages from Nita. Nita informed him that the main island was getting busier with many people intending to settle there. Additionally, some sovereigns had already established their own businesses in the City of Life.

Nita also told Lein that she received information from Laras to be cautious of the Garuda Alliance. They had tried to recruit Laras before but were flatly rejected. Unlike other alliances, the Garuda Alliance seemed to hold a grudge against them.
