The general's procession reached Xingfu at the late hour of the night. The majority of travellers, which consisted of women and children alike were tired and had to stop and make camp.
Thankfully, they had stopped briefly at a checkpoint town on the General's map and restocked on enough food, medical supplies and money to last them the remainder of the trip.
Acting as host, Mei Deng offered the procession to camp at his residence, since it was at the outskirts of the town and would not draw too much attention.
Which was how the General's procession found it's way to Mei Deng's humble abode, over crowding it with tents and horses.
Stepping down from his cart, Mei Deng carried a sleeping Da-Xia in his arms, and navigated through the hustle and bustle of the working servants turning the area into a living spot.
