"What is this?" The general turned to look at Mei Deng, holding the sand in his palm, to his level of sight.
Mei Deng who was a hundred percent certain that Tingting had planted something to frame him, found himself dumbfounded as well. Not giving him a chance to speak, Tingting stepped forward and touched the sand, sitting on the General's palm.
Although she tried to hide it, the perplexed and frustrated look in her eye was impossible to miss. "How come it's sand?" She voiced out, examining it's texture in disbelief.
Shaojie relaxed his shoulders, facing the general he said, "I suggest we search the other servants quarters immediately."
Tingting sharply looked over her shoulder at him with widened eyes, "The other servants?" She looked like she had seen a ghost.
"Madam Wang, since this man did not poison you, it only makes sense to extend the search. General, permission to extend this search?" The lieutenant clasped his hands over his head.
