After greeting the police officer in the office, the three police officers in the office looked at her with slight surprise, then lowered their heads and got back to work.

Elise White was not experienced in handling these kinds of things, so she found an empty sofa to sit on. She carefully thought about her next actions and what questions she would ask William when she saw him.

It had not been 24 hours since William left last night, so the Criminal Police squad might not let her see him.

Elise White knew that she had been refused at the door, so she picked up her bag and stood up, preparing to leave.

The police officer closest to the door called out to her, "Davidson Forensic and Zhac Martin have just finished working. They will be waiting for you in the small meeting room on the third floor."
