Flame awoke in a confined space and scanned the area. The fox spotted iron bars everywhere and thought of her birth den. She grew frightened and wished Moon were by her side. How would she cope by herself?

Moon awoke in a similar confined space and searched the area. He didn't spot Flame and grew worried. Where could she have gone? They were together a day ago.

"Perhaps I'm dreaming," Moon thought.

Malty and his parents were unaware of the current situation and slept beside Moon.

Dusty awoke in a compact area surrounded by bars and almost panicked. He looked around and spotted bears sleeping beside him. Where were Flame and Moon? And why were there bears everywhere? He felt confused and longed to be with his friends. The grizzly stared at the ceiling and imagined playing with the two canines.
