Chapter 4
LEAH's POV
I closed my eyes as I took in the intense sunlight after I got down from the Plane.
The feeling of sunshine on my face made me feel so well and secure.
I'm here cause I want to try my luck and see if I could earn money here in the US.
Then my phone rang. It was my friend,Dianna Kim that was calling.
"Hey Leah" she said.
"Mm. Annyeong" I said.
"You've reached?" she asked
"Yeah,I just arrived. I just got down from the plane and was soaking in the sunlight when you called" I answered,rolling my bag towards the doors of the airport.
"Alright. I've arranged for a taxi to pick you and take you to where you'll stay. I hope you succeed soon. Hwaiting" she said,and I imagined her doing the Hwaiting sign and smiled.
"Thanks Dianna. I owe you big time" I said to her.
"No it's okay. So long as you can find a job and track your father's murderer,I'll be willing to help with anything." she said,sounding like she was drinking something.
"You're drinking Pineapple juice,right?" I asked.
"You know me so well,Leah" she said,giggling.
"Well,girl I've gotta go. I think I've seen the driver waiting for me. I'll call you when I arrive at the apartment." I said to her.
"Alright. Do call me" she said.
"I will. Talk to you later" I said and hung up.
"Hello. I'm The Chauffer Miss Dianna arranged to take you to your home in Spring estate". The young man said curtly.
"Oh. Alright. Where can I keep my luggages?." I asked bringing my box and my stuffs to my front.
"Oh,you can just put it over here. I'll put into the rear space of the car. Do please sit down in the car and wait for me." he said.
"Alright." I replied,sitting in the back of the Car.
He loaded my Stuffs into the car,closed the rear end of the car and entered into his driver seat.
"Madam,please put on your seatbelt" he said,starting the engine of the car.
"Alright." I replied.
I tucked in the seat belt and the car started to move.
I plugged in my earphones and started listening to BTS Young forever.
America Please favour me. I said,closing my eyes slightly.
