I didn't think my grandmother could do such a thing. I absolutely couldn't believe my eyes. But he was right in front of me, Byron was right there.

When I heard my car door slam into something, I could never have imagined that something was him, the boy I was in love with and longed to be able to see and hug for so long. For a moment I couldn't breath. But I had a show to carry on, I couldn't let go and blow up every effort I had made up to then. So I kept playing my part and pretending not to know him, even though my heart was about to explode from my chest and I literally wanted to jump on him.
