What is Dao?

Fei was sitting cross-legged on the bed. He simply had his eyes closed, looking for something in his inner heart. Dao, Dao of Ruthless, but now he was cultivating sword, he was looking for Dao of Sword.
Dao of Sword, there was only one thing that a sword could describe, it was killing. A sword was created to kill and only the blood of his enemy could fulfill its role as a weapon.
But the sword was not a mere weapon to kill either. It was profound cultivation and the cultivation of sword brings one dao to a swordsman that is sword dao.
Achieve dao? But what is dao? How to achieve it? And what makes a powerful person chase dao?
Dao is merely a path, a path towards cultivation. Since it's a path that holds everything that a person needs to cultivate to escape from fate.
Fate or destiny might be similar but there is a vast difference. Fate can not be changed while destiny is be something one can change.
