366: Dirty Literature - The Ribbon Chapter (Part 1)

The door opened, and Linda Roberts sat up at the sound.

Samson Harrington came in, "You're awake."

Linda Roberts had suffered a miscarriage at an advanced age, and her body was still very weak, "Where did you go?"

"Captain Morris from the Major Case Team came to question me."

"He didn't give you a hard time, did he?"

Samson Harrington walked to the bed, "I haven't broken any laws, there's nothing he can do to give me a hard time." He raised the head of the bed and helped Linda Roberts lie down, "Captain Morris took the necklace back to the police station. I don't know if we'll ever get it back."

"If we can't get it back, just buy me another one."

Samson Harrington held her hand, "Aren't you mad at me?"

He told Linda Roberts that the reason he had put a tracker in the necklace was because she had met a resident singer at a bar and hit it off quite well with him. He said he was worried that she would become infatuated with someone new, so he had put a tracker in the necklace.
