Wedding And Coronation

Once it was evening time, Quinn and Queen Mother parted ways with Caleb, and Queen Mother had one of her maids show Quinn the way to the Queen's court where she will be staying. As they entered the court, she saw how large it was, even larger than the Queen Dowager's court.

The courtyard was filled with beautiful scented flowers of all types; roses, lilies, peonies, etc. There were also smalls trees that had several types of fruits growing from them. They soon reached her chamber inside the court and Queen Mother's maid bowed her head as they stood in front of the door, "I shall take my leave now, your Highness."

"Alright, thank you." Quinn answered as she raised up. She turned around and started walking out of the court as Quinn pushed the door open.

She entered the room and closed the door, it was larger than her chamber at home and very beautiful. It was almost identical to the King's chamber, but his chamber was larger. It had a bed, a mirror, a wardrobe, a bathroom and a table with chairs. A red dress that was royally and beautifully decorated laid on the large bed.

As she walked to the bed to pick it up, she heard a knock on the door. She turned around and said, "Come in."

The door opened and nine maids came in bowing low to her, they spoke in unison, "Greetings, your Highness, we are your assigned maids, and Queen Mother has sent us to prepare you for your wedding and coronation."

"Okay. What do I need to do to prepare?" She replied, smiling kindly as one of them closed the door and they all walked closer.

They moved in two colums, four maids each per column and one at the front leading them. The head spoke, "First, we need to bathe you then change you and apply makeup on you while styling your hair."

Quinn shook her head immediately, "No, I will do all that myself."

The head protested, "Your Highness, we are under instructions to do that as the Queen's maids."

"And I said no, you can help me with my hair and makeup, but I will not allow you to bathe me or clothe me." She said firmly as she walked to the bed and pick up the dress.

"Yes, your Highness." They replied as they watched her walk to the bathroom. She turned to face the when she reached the door, "You can sit and wait me. I won't take long."

After coming out of the bathroom fully dressed in her wedding gown, she made her way to the mirror and sat down on the stool there. She picked up her hair brush as the maids rushed to her, and the head took it from her hand. "Let me do it, your Highness."

She nodded as the head combed through her hair, another maid stepped up to the mirror and picked up a powder from the dresser in front of the mirror to apply it on Quinn's face. Soon, they were done with her makeup and hair.

As she looked at the mirror while they stood aside, she saw how beautiful she looked, her hair was styled and placef over one shoulder, her lips were painted red, her eyes was lined black with her eyelashes made prominent and her cheeks were rosy. She stood up from the chair and turned to them, "Thank you, I look so beautiful."

They all bowed their heads, "Your Highness is already beautiful."

A knock came on the door then and her attention went to it, "Come in."

The door opened and Queen Mother with her maids following behind her walked in. She smiled when her eyes landed on Quinn. She walked to her, placing her hand on her arm, "You look beautiful, Quinn. Vincent will not be able to take his eyes from you."

Quinn smiled broader as Queen Mother took her hand away, "Thank you, mother."

"I am here to take you to Vincent in the throne room where you will be wedded and crowned Queen in front of all the people inside the palace."

"Alright, I am ready to go." She replied and Queen Mother nodded as she started for the door. She followed her as her maids followed her.

Queen Mother and Quinn both walked out of the room with their maids following behind them. They made their way out of her court and to the throne room which was a long walk. As they approached the opened door of the throne room, she saw two guards standing at each side of the doors.

The guards bowed down low to them as they walked into the throne room, and everyone excited Vincent bowed down for them as they walked to him. She saw Vincent standing at the front of the room and in front of the King and Queen's throne. He was wearing a red royal robe that had beautiful thread designs and his King's crown on his head.

He smiled at her when he saw her approach, and she couldn't help, but smile back because his smile was infectious. When she reached him, Queen Mother stood to the side along with the crowd and all their maids did the same leaving only Quinn and Vincent there.

His advisor walked out from the crowd and made his way to stand in front of them with the Queen's crown on a pillow in his hands. He looked to the King, "Your Majesty, do you want to marry her Highness, Princess Quinn?"

Vincent was still staring at Quinn, "Yes."

The advisor turned to her, "Your Highness, do you agree to marry his Majesty, King Vincent?"

She nodded as she answered, "Yes."

"You are now King and Queen." The advisor said as he presented the crown to Vincent and he picked it up. He moved closer to Quinn and placed it on her head as he stared into her eyes.

She stared back into his dark mesmerizing eyes as his white hair made them seem to glow. She felt entranced as she felt her lips lift up into a wider smile on their own. The crowd cheered and chorused, "Long Live the King and Queen!"

He took her hand and led her out of the throne room with his servants and her maids following behind.
