Chapter 6 - The Thoughts Behind of Those Cheerful Smile

Hello! Reyna here!!

Today I'm inside of my working place. I work here every day, and I enjoy working here.

I can interact to so much people, and Im happy about that.

At first I was very shy, I'm also very clumsy, resulting for my superior got mad at me.

But not anymore!!

I work hard every day and before I knew it. I already accumulated worth 2 years of work here.

I'm already sufficient at my work. but while I'm being good at it, I started to hate my work.

At past there's only a little amount of men would talked to me and of course they're all want me to become their woman.

I turned all of them down.

As I grow up. I noticed myself not harboring any feelings from the opposite sex, even though there's so much strong looking or handsome guys at my work.

Instead I find it very interesting watching two guys flirting. I am a weird one I know that but I can't do anything about it. That's my taste after all.

I know for myself that I am a very beautiful woman, I'm aware of that fact. At first I was happy having lot of men trying to court me but as time goes by I become to hate it, no I already disgusted by my own beauty, as if I have a cursed. Every time there's some guys watching me with unpleasant eyes. and I already know what they're thinking.

But recently I met this boy, A new looking boy even his aura is new. At first I thought he's one of them, but as if to prove myself wrong he didn't look me with any unpleasant thoughts. I was puzzled.

' did he not see me? or he's just didn't interested to me? ' repeating this question every second in my mind I came up to my own conclusion.

' yep he didn't see me..... after all, if he did, he would also go crazy for me ' that's my conclusion and that's what I want to believe.

It's as usual a busy day for me almost every day. I am at my work time.

I didn't notice someone entered at our guild and a minute later I felt like someone is mocking me so I turn my head and look at the front direction while frowning. and I saw

Black Hair, black eyes, a height that can equal me, an averagely face, and gloomy aura.

' he's.... oh right I heard the guild master told him to come to this place ' I recognized him very well but.

' why is he? is he scared? ' looking at him he wore a scared expression while looking at me.

' but why? ' I thought.

' ah right my expression! no good it's embarrassing I need to continue my work quickly ' I hurriedly turn my head down and continue my work while observing his presence.

After some time past he start to walk forward and talk to me.

" h-hello I am Alex... " he said shyingly.

" oh Alex right? I am Reyna " I introduced to him and I already expecting some unpleasant look he would give the moment we lock our eyes.

But the boy didn't have that instead his eyes are saying something like ' whao she's beautiful ' and after that talk we normally converse each other and I even give him some advice how to become a good adventurer.

He already leave after picking out his first quest.

I was surprised.

" That was the first time a man didn't make a move to me " I murmured looking at the closed door.

I lost in thought standing in front of the numerous quest paper posted at the big board.

" Hey Reyna get back here and start to work! we have so many papers in waiting!.. and also do something about this men! they're started to irritate us! " my colleague at work said.

She's really angry.

" oh right! im sorry! " regaining my senses because of the loud shout from my partner in work. I hurriedly go back to my place and start to work again.

' he's different or is he not? or is he really different from others? but what if he's just holding himself? right let just see what his going to do in the future ' my mind are clashing of these thoughts at the very start of our first talk.

' ok I think the best way is to just wait and see ' I convinced myself to not thank about it any further.

" he's an interesting one " I muttered quietly while doing my work.

At the very top room inside of the Ivory Guild there's a tall, handsome man having a slender body that perfect fit for his charming face named Cedric.

Cedric's sitting at his working chair leaning himself wearing a happy yet concerned smile while his eye are glistening of cunningness.

At the long silence the man spoke.

" finally my world is starting to move, the frozen time is already moving, counting every seconds,hours, a day, a week, a month and.... " he let out a wide grin and said

" a year "

Cedric is happily saying those words but also he's worried and scared as he slightly shivered at those words.

" the first FATED encounters are done "

" Im rooting for you, you who forcedly come here, you who don't know anything, and you who would decide our DESTINIES "

" please save us "

Cedric said.

but those things will happen in a far future.

While our MC in his first quest, got beat up by slimes.
