The Tale Of A Cursed Princess And A Fallen Angel!!

Aryan kept reading the book for Snoopy while Tara who stood there soundless tried to catch her breath, the dream she had, it felt so real, too real to be a dream! Her heart was beating as if she really had a heartbreak!

The only thing that calmed her was seeing him, she just watched him in silence as if she needed it! She indeed needed it!!

Aryan sighed placing the book on the table looking at Snoopy with a frown! "This is really bad!!" he hissed! "How can a story feel this real??" he wondered while Snoopy just looked at him with his obvious puppy eyes!

"Ah...." he exclaimed, "Why is your mother still asleep?!"

"Is she perhaps tired?!" he wondered and just then, Snoopy barked low!

"You think the same?!" he asked him!

The little thing barked again! Twice this time!

"What....?!" he hissed, "I'm not your mother, don't expect things from me!!" he said annoyed though he wasn't! All he felt was feeling bored, cause her absence surrounded him!!

"It actually is trying to inform you my presence!!" Tara's sudden voice grabbed his attention making him look at the door way!

Aryan watched her, back at Snoopy and then back to her again, "Ah...." he exclaimed, "I see!"

"Did you have a nice sleep?!" he asked with a smile, as she reached him, taking a seat across!

"I think so!" she said with a shrug!

A frown appeared on his face! "You look worried....! Don't tell me you're tired, after sleeping from morning to evening!!"

And that was when she realised that she slept that long! "What were you doing in the mean time?!" she asked instead!

Aryan shrugged, "After washing the dishes, I went for gardening! I and Snoopy had a nice time together in the garden!" he said as if wanting to make her jealous!

However Tara only smiled faintly as now Snoopy reached her, she immediately took him into her embrace! "What are you reading him?!" she asked while caressing the white clean hair of his, her fingers easily making their way through his hair!

"A fairytale!" he showed her the book he held!

Tara looked at it, a chuckle escaping out of her.

"What is that for?!"

She shook her head slightly, "Nothing! I just remembered that my father read me that book!"

"Surprising!"

"Actually I was trying to find a nice book to read, well ended up picking this!"

"As now I know you know the story, why not let us hear it from you!" he leaned in as he said, excited!

She just looked at him, her gaze lowering down to the book he held, and back up to him again!

"It is a tale of a cursed princess and a fallen angel!!" she said with a sigh as she looked away, staring into the emptiness as if that reminded her the story, in her father's voice, while her fingers effortlessly were stroking the hair of her pet for which he almost was confused on whether to let her tug him to sleep or focus on her story!

"Story starts with showing a royal family, the king and queen were to be parents in any moment as the screams of the lady surrounded the room! Silencing those, soon a vagitus of just born girl child brought out the hope of new beginnings! But even before they could celebrate her existence, there came a voice from skies, declaring the new born to be cursed, to be bringing a drastic end to whoever she's close with, shares a bond with, and does care for!!"

"Making her a cursed princess!!"

Aryan inhaled, getting more excited, this was the part what he read just now, but hearing it from her made him feel nice! Her voice was calm and a bit faint.....which made him worry a bit as of why, but as she went on saying the plot, he was caught by her soothing voice!

"The voice from the skies which everyone assumed to be of the God himself, didn't only declare it to the family but to the world!! Yet the mother insisted to keep her child with herself, she was her blood and flesh! The king, the girl's father, couldn't let go of his new born as well, and so, though rumours were spread around the kingdom about her existence, she lived as a princess, her parents loved her, until her curse began to crawl in! Everything started to change, her mother whom she loved suddenly fell ill, for days, months, years and more, her father was getting busy in affairs of Kingdom as the kingdom she cared for as a princess began to have problems, continuous droughts after a brief recovery! Her father couldn't completely take care of both his wife and his kingdom at a time, and rumours began to surround everywhere that the whole cause of the situation was the princess herself, her and her curse!!"

Aryan listened curiously as to know what would happen later!

"Only sending the princess for a forever exile was what that brought the calm in the chaos, and as if the rumours were real, as soon as she left the kingdom, everything began to get back to right, and even the queen recovered slowly, strengthening the beliefs of all! However the princess who was in exile, felt abandoned! As darkness surrounded her, the kind little girl within her slowly died! Resurfacing herself with that cold of ice!"

"Then?!" Aryan questioned curiously, in addition, now even Snoopy was paying attention to the story! Aryan felt so good to have a book read for him for the first time, and he just admired her more and more!

However he could see something was off with her, she was way too calm and this only happened when something was on her mind! While he also could sense that she was trying not to discuss about whatever he is yet to know!

And even before he could ask any more, she continued with a sigh!

"She adopted the feeling of being abandoned, with a forever belief that till she dies, she was going to be alone! This thought made her even try to welcome her death but fear always conquered and that what made her decide to be the same! The world had abandoned her, well so will she!!"

Aryan sighed, there was nothing wrong with that little girl!!

"The hatred within her towards this world grew as much as she grew every year, until when fate decided to let her be fated with someone!"

"Someone who?" he asked though he guessed who it could be considering the first thing she said about this story in simple!

"A fallen angel, who was sent on to this world to teach love and affections, their value to each, with his powers lost! As he was said, love alone was a magic and power!"

"Once they were fated, his love began to melt that hate and ice she built within her, while falling for him hard, she also feared she would end up turning his life into a drastic one as well but his assurance, love and care managed to take care of her every fear until when her curse actually affected him!"

Tara rested her back to the chair's wall, with a sigh, inhaling deep as she looked down at Snoopy!

"One day, just like what happened with her mother happened to him, he slowly started to lose his life while she started to lose her love! When the angel suddenly died, out of her curse, she who held him in her hands, who never questioned the reason for her misery, for the first time, looked up, staring the sky which declared to the world that she was cursed! Her teary wet eyes didn't show any emotion, they were just residing the emptiness while tears streamed down her face! And for the first time she questioned her fate, why was she cursed and among all the one's, why her?! She wanted to know the reasons! She yelled at no one but the God, questioning everything she went through, until she began to sob, her hold on the shirt of the man she had in her arms tightened! However, there was no response, her own sobs echoed around, she cried and cried and cried until she was breathless!"

Aryan was silent, as he noticed the silence that conquered her suddenly! Tara's brows narrowed as she kept looking down Snoopy!

"What happened then?" he questioned breaking off the silence!

"She killed herself!" Tara blurted out after a brief silence!

That came to him by surprise, since Aryan remained soundless!

"They both lay on the cold floor, in each other's arms, dead!"

Tara now looked up, "However, as if meant to change the ending, suddenly rays of heavenly light shimmered, piercing through the darkest of clouds! As soon as the rays fell on them, they both came back to alive! The voice which declared her to be cursed lifted off her curse and even declared it too the world that she now is set free!! The fallen angel now was completely changed into a human!"

"The princess looked up at the sky, dazed! When she looked down at her love, he was awake, equally mesmerized by the heavenly light, that was when the echoing sound made them look up again, which seemingly was from the sky! The voice stated that their life was fated in such way cause they were brought onto this world to teach the value of love, it's power! Her curse didn't fear him, his illness didn't make her leave him cause of how much she loved him! They knew they were going to have a drastic end if they were fated, and choice was theirs, but the love within them for each other, made them chose love over their fate! When he died happily in her arms, the world witnessed his pure belief over his love, that had no regrets, and when she chose to die not wanting to live a life without him, the world witnessed what love is capable of!"

Aryan inhaled, finally something better happened!

"Their pure love broke the curse, melted the heart of the God, made them write their own fate! The princess was welcomed back to the kingdom, she got back everything she once lost! The angel who was now a human, married her, and they both lived happily forever after!!"

Tara looked down at Snoopy, he started licking her fingers, making her chuckle!

Aryan leaned back in his chair! "It's a nice fairytale!!" he said with a deep breath, making her look up at him with a chuckled! Aryan watched her confused!

"It isn't a fairytale, it's a fable!"

Aryan stared straight into her emerald eyes as if trying to understand her!

"Even if someone really is cursed in real life, no God will be appearing to lift off the curse!! In the end it is fate that wins over love!!"

Aryan saw the flicker of unknown emotion in her eyes as she said it!

"God himself appearing to lift off the curse and bringing them back to life might really be a fable, but their love isn't! The belief they had over eachother isn't!!" Aryan put a hand on hers, leaning forward, as he said it!

"Fate might be the winner often but love does has the power to change it! All we have to do is to believe, to have the faith!!"

Tara didn't say anything for a moment more as she found herself caught in his hazel gaze, "Do you know what my father used to say?!"

Aryan wondered, "What did he say?"

"That his life changed twice, once when his father died and second when he loved!"

"According to him, love and death are the only things which can change everything!!"

Aryan who heard her, smiled, "I accept!!"

Tara watched him in silence for a moment more until her hand came up now resting his, "I want your word!"

He looked at her confused again, "What....do you mean?"

"I want you to promise me that you'll never force yourself to see anything!!"
