Chapter 6: He called me Little Red

Hong Liu first visit in Nine Heavens was something nobody had ever forget, even three hundred later now everyone was quite acquaintances with her willful nature, there was nothing in this universe that was ever denied to her, whatever she wanted she had it, she was exactly how someone who was raise love and care should be like. She was a troublemaker and stubborn, she won't stop until she had what she desire. But the one thing that was denied to her was the thing she wanted the most she was ready to trade anything for it but fate was too cruel...

'The heart of the First Lord is not in your fate, Xiao Liu' Her aunt words constantly echoes in her mind, to remind of the truth but the heart has its own tune that it wanted to dance on...

After their first meeting, three hundred years ago...

Hong Liu comes back with little Li and a little light in her aunt eyes return. When she told her father and mother, The King Bai Yu and Queen Bai Mi of the western lands of Green forest who as soon as hear of this come to the east land, in the butterfly cocoon of Bai Changxi. They were anxious it would lead to a problem but since it was a matter of justice and the matter was directly connected to Bai Yu's sister Bai Changxi. The justice was on their side but they didn't agree with the way Hong Liu handle this particular matter, this matter was delicate and held the peace between two most powerful Kingdom. Bai Yu had every intention to teach his daughter a lesson, with his long line black moustache and half of his hair tied up in a bun which was hold up with special kind of band that had ruby adone in it, it was the sign of the King of West Land. He look down at Hong Liu with his dark brown eyes with a scowl as Hong Liu was kneeling before him.

"The way you handle this matter was most reckless!" He scolded her.

"Father, Hong Liu will take any punishment if you think she did wrong but GuGu was ready to drink the forgetful potion. She is the queen of the Green Forest and they bullied her thinking she was a mortal, " Hong Liu said with a bowed head.

"I know and I am not saying we wouldn't have gone for the same thing but these matters should be dealt in a dignified way! What you did was not befitting the elegance of the princess of Green Forest!"

'Oh heavens! I am going to get a good lashing and long-lasting punishment for this, don't I? Maybe I should have planned it more' She thought with a grimace on her face of possible punishment, her head bend down further at that thought. She inclined her slightly to meet the eyes of Ren who was standing beside her, her eyes pleading for help. Ren nodded in reassurance.

"Leave it, Bai Yu the child couldn't take her aunts pain. You know how close they are, besides it was not wrong...but the way she handled it I agree, it was not the best possible way. Now Changxi is in better health we should take care of her. She has been through a lot, " Ren tries to reason.

"High God Ren if you keep shielding her how she will earn the respect as the future queen of Green Forest, she is too reckless. If someone comes from Nine Hevans questioning our ways of handling things what we would say then, " Bai Yu said. His voice was respectful, High God Ren was just not an elder to him but he was one of the three most ancient gods left now in the universe.

The prospect that her Father thinks that she has harmed the reputation of the green forest made Hong Liu blurt out her next words without thinking.

"Nobody will come from Nine heavens, The First Lord himself held the trial and Heavenly Lord gave the verdict, " She said her voice was strong.

"The First Lord?!"

Her Mother, Father and Ren exclaimed at the same time in shock.

That was news to everyone in the room, Hong Liu just told them the short version of her visit to the Nine heavens. As she said the First Lord name, her stomach gave a nervous twist, she blushes and bowed down her head again hiding her heated cheeks. Her racing heartbeat unsettled her as she thought of his cold but the handsome face she remembers what he said when she left the Nine Heavens.

"If I hadn't you have blown away the whole heaven little red,"

When he said it like that standing so close to her a half playful smile pulled on those lips. Hong Liu blushed and that very moment flies away and heart was racing so fast. She doesn't know why she is feeling the way. What happened to her? He called her Little Red, nobody calls her that and she realized she likes her new nickname.

She bit her lower lip, stopping herself from smiling at the memory.
