Arrival

( 3rd POV )

A rift split the sky asunder, and from it, a figure descended. She stood tall, wearing a black purplish armor while carrying a giant shield on her hands. The little girl looked up at her, eyes wide with confusion and wonder.

The mysterious figure turned to face the oncoming jets, slamming her massive shield into the ground with resolute determination. Her voice, clear and commanding, carried words filled with hope.

"Lord... Camelot!"

The air around her shimmered with an ethereal glow as she invoked her Noble Phantasm. The shield expanded, its form blurring as it became more than metal and myth—it became a symbol of hope for the people around her.

The structure of a giant white walls starts to manifest beside her and expanding alongside the upper New York bay, shielding everyone behind it from the incoming danger. Mash standing firmly in the middle of it look like a gate to the ideal city inside the walls.

The fighter jets, along with the missiles they carried, failed to hit their target and instead landed on the white walls of Camelot, unable to breach its defenses.

A thunderous boom resonated across the field, audible and visible to all. Whether they were watching the live broadcast online or present at the location, the reverberations could be felt by everyone.

The ground trembled, and the air crackled with released power, but Lord Camelot held steadfast.

Above, Storm watched the scene unfold, her initial shock giving way to a profound sense of relief and awe as she witnessed the mysterious young girl withstand Magneto's assault. Inside the X-Men's ship, a stunned silence settled before it was broken by a cacophony of voices.

"Oh my god! Did you see that? She took the hit and protected everyone behind her!" A young boy with blue skin and a tail, his eyes wide with admiration, could barely contain his excitement.

"She can manifest a fortress? Is she a mutant like us?" Another boy, his red sunglasses reflecting the lights inside the ship, asked, his voice brimming with curiosity.

"I highly doubt it. Maybe it's because of her shield? I mean, she's wearing knightly armor," replied a third youth, his appearance resembling a literal popsicle.

"Alright, kids, now's not the time for debates. We're landing next to her, so get ready. John, can you bring us down?" Hank, the man covered in blue fur, spoke with authority, drawing the attention of the young mutants before glancing toward the pilot.

"Sure thing, Hank," John Proudstar responded, his hands steady on the controls as he guided their ship in a slow, controlled descent toward the ground.

As the ship descended, the young mutants pressed against the windows, their eyes glued to the scene unfolding below.

Meanwhile the helicopters hovered like vultures over a battlefield, their cameras shifted from Magneto and fixated on the unfolding drama below. Inside, the news reporters were a flurry of activity, scrambling to capture every moment as the mysterious figure made her grand entrance.

"Are we still live?" one reporter barked, adjusting her headset as the pilot maneuvered for a better angle. "Good. Keep the camera on her—yes, her with the shield!" She said after getting a confirmation from the cameraman.

The camera zoomed in, focusing on the knightly women as she stood resolute. The lens captured the shimmering white walls that towering the buildings behind it as it absorbed the impact of the explosions, a spectacle that left the seasoned reporters speechless.

The lead reporter's voice quivered as she tried to maintain her professional demeanor, but the scene unfolding before her was too overwhelming. "To the audiences at home, I can't describe what's happening for certain, but we are witnessing something… something unprecedented," she stammered, her usual composure shattered. "A figure has suddenly appeared from the space rift in the sky amidst the chaos here in New York City, wielding a power that is… unlike anything we've ever seen."

Viewers around the globe were glued to their screens, the initial shock and awe giving way to a collective sigh of relief as the tension eased. Some remained speechless, captivated by the sight of the magical walls that had sprung up, while others had already begun to debate fiercely whether this mysterious figure was another mutant or something entirely different.

In a cozy bedroom miles away from the epicenter of the chaos, two young men were huddled around a computer, their eyes wide with disbelief as they watched the live broadcast. One of them, a young man with a shock of unruly hair, couldn't hide his astonishment.

"Mash...?" he whispered, his voice barely audible. The disbelief was clear in his eyes, as he never expected that one of the people who had once helped him would appear on the screen, amid the turmoil in New York.

As the camera panned, it captured the tense atmosphere of the battle. Storm hovered in the sky, her eyes fixed intently on the shielded girl below. Her usually serene expression was replaced with one of intense focus and concern. The camera then shifted to Magneto, his face a mask of annoyance mixed with surprise. "What just happened?" he demanded, his tone irritated but tinged with undeniable curiosity.

As the news chopper circled, the reporters continued to narrate, their voices a blend of professional detachment and human emotion. "We don't know who she is or where she came from, but one thing is clear: today, this unknown warrior stood between us and disaster. And for that, we are grateful. Let us continue to witness whether she could stop Magneto or not."

As the rift in the sky shimmered and twisted, another figure emerged, following the first. This time, it was a man dressed in a sleek black and white tactical suit, a striking red tattoo on his right palm. With a confident descent, he landed beside the young woman, his carefree smile lighting up his face.

"Nice timing, Mash. As expected from my kouhai." He said, his voice brimming with pride as he faced the knightly young woman.

Mash turned to him, her expression warm and humble. "Ah, but it's thanks to your displacement spell, Ken-senpai, that we arrived just in time to stop those fighter jets," she replied modestly, her sweet smile adding a touch of warmth to the chaotic scene.

Ken chuckled, a wry smile playing on his lips. He admired her humility but wished she would take more pride in her achievements. No matter how much he tried, she remained grounded and unassuming, regardless of the situation.

As Ken scanned the area, he noticed a little girl standing behind Mash, her eyes wide with astonishment. He walked over and crouched down to her level, his demeanor gentle. "What did you think? That big sister with the shield is pretty awesome, right?" he asked, his tone kind and encouraging.

The little girl, who had been saved by Mash's intervention, snapped out of her stupor. She looked up at Ken, her excitement palpable. "Um! Big sis is awesome! The walls around us are so beautiful, and thank you for saving me!"

Mash's cheeks flushed with embarrassment at the little girl's praise. "You're welcome," she said softly, offering a warm smile while maintaining her vigilant stance.

"Katie!!!" The desperate cry of a woman pierced the air, filled with anxiety and relief.

Ken and the little girl turned to see a disheveled woman, her eyes wide with concern, staring at the child. "Mom!" the little girl shouted back, joy evident in her voice.

Understanding the situation, Ken gently patted the little girl's head. "Go on, your mom is waiting for you," he encouraged warmly.

"Um, bye-bye, big brother, big sister, and please be safe!" the girl called out cheerfully, waving her tiny hands as she ran toward her mother. Katie's mother nodded gratefully at Ken and Mash before picking her up and hurrying towards the shelters.

"Cute..." Mash murmurs while watching them leaving. Ken who hears her nod with an agreement. "Right...?" While he continues his words on his mind, trying to not let Mash hear him. 'We should create a bunch of them later...'

Meanwhile, Magneto, witnessing the unfolding events, was poised to hurl another massive piece of metal from his metallic platform. Just then, a figure with red skin and a tail resembling a demon appeared beside him, sporting several cuts and bruises.

"What happened to you, Azazel?" Magneto's voice was cold, his eyes narrowing as he took in the sight of his injured ally.

Azazel, panting and struggling to regain his breath, responded, "Had a fight with a mysterious woman clad in samurai-like armor, and this is the result."

Magneto's expression hardened. "For someone with teleportation abilities, your excuse is quite unbelievable," he retorted, suspicion lacing his words.

Azazel winced, knowing the skepticism was deserved. "I feel the same, but she's incredibly fast. I was monitoring the Morlocks' mutants attacking the city, led by Blob, when she suddenly appeared. She incapacitated them all in the blink of an eye. Even Blob was sliced up like a fucking sushi by her."

Intrigued yet concerned, Magneto leaned in. "Go on."

"I tried to intervene and stop her, but she was far too fast and skilled with her sword, I'm not her match. She managed to injure me easily, and I had no choice but to retreat. But that crazy woman followed me at lightning speed, cutting down every mutant in her path. We've lost 50% of our troops because of her," Azazel recounted, his voice trembling slightly as he relived the harrowing encounter.

Magneto's silence was heavy with contemplation, his face grim as the metal around him trembled with his suppressed frustration. "I saw Victor fighting his brother, and Pyro getting overwhelmed by a group of vigilante heroes, but I didn't know about the others like Mystique, Marrow, and Banshee. If you want to launch the machine, it's now or never, Erik," Azazel urged, finishing his report.

Erik Lehnsherr remained silent, staring at the ground where the towering white walls stood unscathed. His gaze shifted to the two young people below, deep in thought about their next move.

Ken and Mash, having just seen Katie safely reunited with her mother, exchanged a glance and turned their eyes upwards towards the metal stadium suspended ominously in the sky. Their gaze met the cold, calculating eyes of Magneto, the master of magnetism.

"Whistle, what a spectacle..." Ken said, whistling softly in admiration of Magneto's power.

"Senpai, I can maintain my Noble Phantasm until the evacuation is complete, but what are we going to do about that metal fortress?" Mash asked, her voice filled with concern. Just as Ken was about to respond, a red-clad figure arrived silently beside them.

The women who just arrived is clad in a striking armor with a touch of fantastical flair, befitting a warrior from ancient time. Her armor is a vibrant tapestry of red, accented with gold and black, showcasing intricate designs that speak of her noble status and formidable prowess.

At her side, a katana rests within easy reach, its scabbard echoing the armor's color scheme with black and gold details, a silent promise of the swift and precise strikes she is capable of delivering. Even the atmosphere around her feels very cold and murderous at the same time.

"Ken-sama, I've managed to put down the metahumans along the way as per your order, but I failed to finish the red one called Azazel. His ability is quite annoying," she reported softly, despite the menacing aura she exuded.

"It's fine, you did a good job, Ushiwakamaru. I saw Azazel beside Magneto up there. I just hope you can keep him occupied later. If we want to destroy that metal fortress, we need to stall for more time while I call for more firepower," Ken said with a look of contemplation after he assesses the situation.

"Leave it to me, Ken-sama. I'll ensure that red devil is kept preoccupied," Ushiwakamaru replied, patting her chest plate with confidence.

Ken's attention shifted as the X-Men disembarked from their ship, with Storm landing gracefully nearby and striding towards them. A sly smile tugged at his lips. "Good, free labor for me..." He whispered to himself, pleased at the unexpected reinforcement.

Seeing the arrival of the red samurai mentioned by Azazel and her conversation with the two young people, Magneto, still levitating in the sky, could no longer contain his anger. "Who are you people?" he demanded, his voice amplified by his manipulation of the surrounding metal, resonating powerfully across the battlefield.

The force of his voice drew the attention of everyone, including a trembling cameraman in a nearby helicopter, capturing the unfolding drama. Ken stepped forward, maintaining unwavering eye contact with Magneto.

"We? We are Finis Chaldea, or Chaldea for short. Nice to meet you, Mr. Erik Magnus Lehnsherr."
