Reminder

*Apricot Junior High School*

A girl was sitting on her desk, beside the window, in her classroom. She was writing something in her note book. She was young and her features were not matured but she was still beautiful. No doubt, in future she will be a gorgeous lady. She was absorbed in her own world.

After some time she started packing her things.

Another beautiful girl entered. She looked at the girl who was packing her things with a complicated expression.

"Su Rouli..."

Su Rouli picked up her bag and looked at her.

"Yes?" Su Rouli said very softly.

"Although I am not your friend, but we are still classmates. Let me give you a advice. Never fall in love with your fiancé. He is not sincere to you. He doesn't love you. He is not worthy of you."

Fu Rouxi spoke in one breath.

"How did you know that he is ... my fian..cè?" asked Su Rouli, clearly shocked.

"Aa..mm....!" Fu Rouxi did not think of this.

"Well, I guess, that's not the main point here, right? he don't deserve you. He doesn't understand your worth"

"He will.... in future" Su Rouli said after a while.

"He won't. Fine, I won't say anything. Just don't hurt yourself....." her voice became a whisper in the end.

"I understand,... thank you". Su Rouli said before leaving.

Fu Rouxi sighed and didn't say anymore. She also took her bag and went out.

Su Rouli looked at Fu Rouxi for a moment.

Fu Rouxi and Su Rouli were both beauties. Both of them were often found on their school forums. Idle students loved to compare them. Often voting was held to choose the school belle. Of course both of them were on top. Su Rouli was kind, innocent and dainty type beauty whereas Fu Rouxi was wild, cold and confident type beauty. And there was no doubt most of the time, Fu Rouxi won. As it is said that the best perfume a woman can wear is confidence.

The strange thing was that none of the two paid any attention to it and became enemies. Nor Fu Rouxi became arrogant.

Fu Rouxi was not their class monitor or representative, nor she was at any important position. But she was a bomb.

She was usually very quite but you shouldn't provoke her. She does not care who you are or anything else. You can say that she usually avoids trouble but it doesn't mean that she is afraid of it. And the best thing of all was that she was apple of the eyes of teachers. She was very attentive and cooperative during classes. Even if she make some mistakes, the teachers won't say her much. Of course, the mistakes won't be too big. She was the only one who attracted the most eye contact with teachers and she was the only one who would dare to shake her head when teacher asks, " Do yo understand this?"😝

For her to say something like that to Su Rouli, it seems like she must have seen something. To accuse someone, or to sow discord, Su Rouli knew that Fu Rouxi was not that free.

This was a fact that whole class knew.

Fu Rouxi is a straight forward person. Even if she doesn't like someone's habit or something like that, she won't point it out unless she comes directly in contact with it, then she won't hold back.

"I don't care if you do or say this to others or not but don't do or say it to me. I mind it very much. Next time, don't do something like this to me."...

But now was not the case.....

Su Rouli's thoughts were interrupted when Fu Rouxi said,

" I known you must be thinking like this is not my style. But I am just giving you a reminder, you have the choice to believe me or not. But I said this because- "

She paused. Fu Rouxi took a deep breath and continued,

"We both are girls and I may not understand your position or circumstances, I just want to say that if a girl doesn't even fight for herself, doesn't stand up for herself, then no one is going to stand up for her."

" She will continue to bear that may be one day, they will see her goodness, and cherish her, but it won't happen.

A girl that doesn't even cherish herself, how others are going to cherish her?! If it goes on like this, she may be able to delay the ending but it still won't be changed. In the end she will be hurt and abandoned. So, it's better to stand up for herself. At least she can change something even if it is bringing the ending near. But sooner there is ending, the sooner she can restart.

And also a girl's youth time is limited. It can't be wasted on worthless people. There are a lot of people who will like her truly and spoil her so there is no need to ruin her own happiness and desires for someone who doesn't even care about her.

Of course, I am not saying she should be selfish completely. She should sacrifice her dreams and desire for Someone who is worth it, not for someone selfish. The one truly deserves her sacrifice won't let her do the sacrifice. To selfish people, you should be even more selfish."

Fu Rouxi said too much. It was like she was in a debate and of course she sounded so much confident and convincing that one couldn't help but believe her. No wonder, she is favorite student of most of the teachers.

"You should become a motivational Speaker" said Su Rouli out of blue.

"..." Fu Rouxi was speechless.

"OK, at least you think I was motivating you. So, will you be motivated?"

Su Rouli didn't answer. Fu Rouxi stared intently at her. Su Rouli looked into her clear eyes. Then she closed her eyes and whispered something softly, which Fu Rouxi didn't get. It was more like a light sigh.

"OK, I won't say any more. Anyway, its your life, so you are the one to decide."

Fu Rouxi said as she patted her shoulder and left.

Su Rouli stood there for a while. Her once dull eyes began to light up. Her words kept ringing in her mind.

'It's my life, so I am the one to decide it?'
