I did this

Adriana took Vanessa back to her house and as soon as they got inside the shabby looking house Adriana pestered her to start explaining herself.

"I told you I don't know anything about this. I am very much as shocked as you are" Vanessa said trying to sound believable but Adriana was having none of it. Was she trying to tell her they just magically swapped bodies? That was just utterly ridiculous. One of them must have a thing to do with it and it was definitely not her.

"You are lying," Adriana said bluntly, glaring at the girl. If she had her way she would have squeezed her neck till she died then maybe she could get back into her body. "You thief I know you...….." Adriana wasn't even done talking when she felt that sharp pain kick at her gut again. She groaned in pain as it felt more painful this time for her to fall to the ground with a big thud and she noticed Vanessa shift back from where she had stood as if to go away from her.

"Why did I have to end up in this useless body?" Adriana cried rolling on the floor as the pain was unbearable. She was about to say something when she heard her laugh to have her eyes narrow down on at her. Did the bitch seriously think it was funny? She was the one who was supposed to be feeling this pain right now because only she knew what she did with her body to end up like this but here she was carrying a cross that wasn't meant for her.

"You are right! I did have something to do with all of these, so what? There is nothing you can do about it as you see, you are trapped in this weak and diseased body so there's no way you would be able to fight me back."

"Do you want to know why I did this? Why was it you that I targeted? Do you remember the girl you publicly disgraced that day? The smelly and disgusting girl you pointed a finger at and accused of stealing without any solid evidence just because I was poor? Well I am that girl, now you will know what it feels like to be in my shoes. I want you to regret everything you ever did to me and beg at my feet but guess what? I will never give you your body back" Vanessa spat feeling proud of what she had just said. She finally relaxed her back from where she stood knowing fully well the girl couldn't do anything as she was as weak as dead. She was the one to know as she had passed through this several times.

"You are pathetic" Adriana said, letting out a small laugh amidst her immense pain as she looked at the girl with disgust. Vanessa looked stunned for a bit that what she had just said was left uncared for by the girl and didn't even feel any remorse about it but on the brighter side who got the upper hand? She!!

"I wouldn't have done this to anybody else but you deserved it." Saying this, Vanessa didn't waste any more second as she hurried out of the house leaving Adriana to groan in pain as she tried to stop her from leaving but she couldn't even lift a finger. She felt a tear roll down her eyelid and all she could do was curse under her breath. She hated tears!

After some minutes, the pain subsided and she felt her belly loosen up but instead of getting up from the floor, she remained in that position unmoving while she just stared at the ceiling. The only thoughts that wandered through her mind was how the sly fox was able to carry out just a nasty thing.

She had only seen such things in movies and they were never real in the realistic world but how could she explain what was going on right now? In the movies, she had known that this things could only be performed by dark magic but how did she possess them and most importantly were they real?

Adriana needed answers to her questions and she was going to get them No matter what lengths she had to take. She would put the girl right In her place and get her body back but before that, she had to find out the cause of her sickness and why she felt so much pain just from it.

She stayed on the floor for a long time and when she finally felt motivated, she got up and fled out of the house as she went straight to the hospital.

She got to the hospital and inquired for a doctor who attended to her immediately, making her surprised as to why she didn't need an appointment with him but it was all for the best anyways. They did a series of tests for her and she had to come back the next day to get her reports.

She patiently waited for her reports and once the results had landed in her hand, her eyelids flew open at what she was staring at. The useless girl was suffering from cancer!! How was she to deal with such a thing?

"You don't have to let this affect you miss I know you can pass through this" she heard the doctor assure her but it only made her scoff. He wasn't serious was he? How was she to overcome such a thing as this!!

She didn't know what to make of this information as she clutched the paper which contained the results in her hand, anger evident in her face. How was she to live the rest of her days in this body while trying to figure out how to get out of it if she was terminally ill.

"Miss….miss are you okay?" Adriana got jolted back to reality as she heard the doctor call for but she gave him a glare instead. "You can fuck off with your fake and pitiful care" she huffed at him throwing the paper to his face as she left his office in rage but part of her was sulking. She needed treatments but she was sure the girl didn't have money for that so what was she to do now? It seemed as though the pain kept getting worse by the day and she felt completely weak.

Adriana walked under the sunny sky as her feets gently tapped on the floor while her eyes were lost at where she was going probably because they were now filled with tears as she refused to let them drop but it wasn't long until she got hit by someone to have to the force of the contact let her tears slide gracefully down her cheeks.

She missed her mum! She would have been the one to comfort her through these tough times but she wasn't here right now. She felt like someone who was lost in a desert and kept trying to look for a way to get back.

Adriana's feet came to an abrupt stop as she cleaned off her tears looking around her. She stood there for a good amount of seconds watching as people passed her by and she found herself laughing. What was she doing? Walking in the streets looking pathetic? when she could be somewhere else figuring out a way to get out of the mess she was in. 

She is Adriana Hawkins. And Adriana Hawkins was never weak and now wasn't the time to be shedding tears over something that wasn't even supposed to be her problem. She took a cab home and bought some food on her way as she refused to cook in such a nasty looking room. The room utterly disgusted her and it still surprised her how she was able to survive sleeping in the room but she would soon find a way out of that shabby place anyways.

Her mind wasn't steady throughout the whole day she spent in the house while trying out different logics in her head but she couldn't come up with anything. The girl was sly and had used the opportunity of her being vulnerable at that moment to escape. She knew there was no way she would come for her but if she thought she could be more cunning than her, she was wrong . She might have escaped now but that didn't mean she wouldn't catch up to her later.

She would make sure to find her by all means!!
