Chapter 44 Are You Tempted?

Larry knew he was right since Felix didn't say anything. With a startled expression on his face, he exclaimed, "No way!"

"Who made Mr. Bush in love again?"

"Shut up." Felix was a little annoyed.

"Humph."

"Is that the female model named Nina?"

"Felix, stop pretending. We grew up together. We understand each other!"

"You were on the hot hunt with her a few days ago, but it was canceled after a while. Did you not do it?"

"I just don't want to appear in public," Felix replied as he lightly shook the crimson wine glass in his palm.

Larry's expression was filled with disbelief, yet all he did was shake his head and quit talking.

For a moment, the room remained peaceful, except for the faint introduction of loud music from downstairs.

Larry couldn't help himself after a time of silence, and his tone was dissatisfied.

"So, you asked me today to sit here and drink without saying a word?"

"I'm usually down there," he said, motioning to the basement.
