CHAPTER 8

Cold water was splashed all over me. I jumped up, and gave a startled scream, as the water hit my skin. Brandon and Jayden stood in front of me with evil identical smiles on their faces.

They woke me up with water. How predictable. Couldn't they be original? I thought bitterly.

I stood there, shivering in my thin, now wet, night gown, while they laughed at my pathetic state. I guess this is pay back for yesterday . This is just a sad way to wake up on a Sunday of all days .

"Good morning, idiot ." Brandon laughed . He then turned to Jayson.

"I hope you got all that."

That's when I noticed that Jayson had his phone out, recording me. Great. They're probably gonna post it up . Or use it as back mail against me .

"Make us breakfast. Now." I yelped as I felt a hard sting on my arm where Jayden just hit me.

"C-can I at least change?"

"No. Come down now. " Brandon sneered

I waited until they were all in front of me before I followed them into the kitchen. I didn't want any surprises from behind me when I'm walking down the stairs .

My brothers went to the dining room and I went to the kitchen.

I had a hard time doing anything with shaky hands; my body eventually got warmer after I lit the stove .

The food was done. I served them. And then excused myself. Now that Adam isn't here I can skip meals without anyone asking questions . I can finally be beautiful .

Jayden has been acting weird all morning . He barely ate his breakfast, which is weird considering all of my brothers, Adam included, eats alot.

He's also been really quiet today . He didn't even say anything about my weight or insulted me at all. Even when the cold water was thrown on me. Normally he'd enjoy something like that but he barely reacted to it this morning .

Something was wrong with him. I didn't ask though . It's none of my business .

I was left at home with a really long list of chores to do while my brothers were gone.

1)Do the laundry.

2)Clean our rooms.

3)Change the bed sheets.

4)Clean the living room, dinning room and bathrooms.

That was only the beginning. I was starting to feel like a regular Cinderella.
