Assassination Attempt

According to the agreement, Max picked up Jade. His girlfriend was waiting for him in front of the campus, alone. Her friends had gone home early and moreover, Max didn't see Shane's whereabouts. It made his smile widen.

Jade went straight to her car and kissed Max on the lips for a few minutes.

Max slightly frowned as he smelled Jade's body odor mixed with the smell of a wolf. Actually, he was getting used to it, but when he kissed her again, it was still strange for him.

"Don't worry, Shane's wolf smell will definitely be replaced by yours eventually, Max," Jade said.

"Haa, you read my mind."

"No. You know I can't read minds, but the look on your face looks like you're really concerned about my smell," Jade snapped.

Max smiled as he stroked Jade's hair. The car immediately left the campus. "Do you want to come to my house?" Max asked.
