Chapter 33

  Aleia’s pov

"I didn't bring up bad memories, did I?" she asked, her face full of concern.

I laughed it off, waving her concern away.

"No, it's fine. Nothing but good memories" I assured her.

"Good, I wouldn't want to kill the fun we are having," she grinned.

I grinned back. "We are having fun" I agreed.

We both sat there drinking and talking, she was good company. I got to know more about her. She was the only child of her parents, they were both still alive. They knew she was gay, and their love never wavered.

She was content with her life, and she was hoping to settle down soon.

I told her a little about me, we drank mostly and talked very little.

I enjoyed myself, I checked my messages to see none from there and lots from Melissa.

She wanted me to hurry up and come back, she had a lot to tell me. I just think she wanted to go shopping, and nobody was a better shopper than I was.
