Once they arrived in Magnolia, they dashed off to find food to eat except for Lucy and Kali. Kali had to act like she didn't know them, which was impossible, so she had to deal with the second-hand embarrassment she got from Natsu yelling down the streets and Gray trailing behind without a shirt on.

"Look at them go, I'm surprised they're able to run like that when they're starving." Lucy said.

"Adrenaline truly is an amazing thing, huh? To allow one to forget their hunger temporarily." Kali said before turning to Lucy. "Well then, it's time for me to go home. You should do the same."

"Eh? Don't we have to tell the guild we're back?"

"Who knows? I never did that unless I was gone for a long time, but you can go to the guild if you want. Get some food to freshen up."

"Hai, I'll just do that."

"Alright, look after Natsu too. I'm pretty sure he's somewhere causing trouble."

"Right."

"Later then, Lucy, stay safe." Kali said as she walked in the other direction.

The direction she was going wasn't where her house was located, but where the Ten Wizard Saints were located.

"Let's see how they react when I show them this." Kali said with a smile as she stared at the item in her hand.

"Eisenwald's defeat won't solve the fundamental problem in any way…"

"There are as many dark guild's as there are stars in the sky…"

"Then we should commence the operation at once…"

Inside the private room was where the members of the magic council were holding a meeting.

"Still, for all the reproach we've given Fairy Tail, it seems they've saved our hides this time."

"Tsk, Fairy Tail this and that! Are you forgetting that we still haven't obtained the item that came from Zeref's black magic?!"

As the man with blue hair with a red mark on his face was about to answer, there was suddenly a knock on the door. The members locked eyes with each other before nodding. After all, they knew of the few people who could enter and that if there was a knock, there was most likely something urgent to report.

However, they didn't expect that person to arrive.

Kali smiled at the sight of the presence of the politicans. She held out the item in her hand and said, "You must be talking about this item correct? The Lullaby."

The Magic Council members were shaken, they didn't expect a member of the Fairy Tail guild to acquire the Lullaby. Moreover, they didn't expect her.

"The unofficial eleventh member of the Ten Wizard Saint as well as the SS-Rank Wizard, Kali." a man with blue hair and a red mark on his face said.

"It's good to see you too, Siegrain." Kali said as she fiddled the flute in her hands which nearly gave the wizard saints a heart attack.

"Stop doing that!"

"Doing what?" Kali asked innocently as she tossed the flute in the air and caught it behind her back.

"You!"

"Calm down Leiji." Siegrain said as he turned towards Kali. "What do you want?"

"Oh, I don't want anything. I just came to tell you all that I'm back and it feels great being home." Kali said as she started walking out the door before turning on her heels. "Also, I'm keeping this flute!"

The Magic Council members snapped out of their shock once the door closed behind Kali. While a few of them were calm and maintained their sanity, most of them were angry but tried their best to calm down.

If it was any other wizard, they would've turned them into ashes. But it was Kali, the unofficial eleventh member who was said to be the strongest out of all of them.

"Damn her! Why did she have to come back now of all times! Everything was going perfectly the way I wanted it to!" Leiji raged.

"Calm down, Leiji." Siegrain said.

"How could I calm down after my pride as one of the Ten Wizard Saints has been trampled upon by a mere wizard?!"

"Aren't you forgetting that she isn't just a mere wizard though?" a woman with long black hair and black eyes said.

"Be quiet, Ultear!"

"Is she wrong though, Leiji?" Siegrain asked as he sent a sharp glare at him which shut him up. "Despite digging for information about her for all these years, we still barely know anything."

"Oh?" Ultear looked at Siegrain with interest. "Are you saying none of us have seen her abilities?"

Siegrain nodded. "It's said that she's extremely careful of her surroundings which leads to almost no one seeing it."

"You said almost, so who is that one member?" Ultear asked.

"Mirajane Strauss, the S-Rank Wizard as well as the model for the guild of Fairy Tail."

As Kali was walking around the magic council looking for the exit, she comes across two female wizards, and instantly knows who they are.

Lately, there was news of two new candidates for the Ten Wizard Saints. However, if they join, two members of the Ten Wizard Saints will be replaced by them. After all, whoever is stronger should replace the weaker one.

"Selenica and Astrid."

Selenica had the appearance of a slim woman with long golden hair and gray eyes and Astrid had the appearance of a slender woman with a relatively circular facial structure, a thin nose and thin lips. Her strawberry blonde hair that hangs down to her shoulders, all of these give contrast to her pinkish-tanned skin complexion.

"It's you, the unofficial eleventh member." Selenic said with hostility laced in her tone.

Astrid stayed quiet, but Kali could tell she was also on guard, and ready to attack at any second. Despite all the viciousness directed to her, Kali still had a smile on her face.

"Now, what did I do to deserve your hostility, fellow two candidates?" Kali asked.

"Don't worry about that. Just answer my question." Selenica said.

"It depends on what the question is."

"You have no other choice, if you don't answer, you'll die here." Selenica stated.

"By the hands of us." Astrid added.

"Ah, so you finally talked, Astrid." Kali said before turning back to Selenica and bursted into laughter.

Veins could be seen on Selenica's forehead. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, it's just the fact that the two of you think you could kill me," Kali said before composing herself. "Now, ask away. My time isn't unlimited."

"Why didn't you join the Ten Wizard Saints as the eleventh member?" Selenica asked.

Kali stared at Selenica in disbelief. "That's what you wanted to ask?"

Selenica nodded.

"Well, if it's just that, then I guess I can tell you." Kali said as a mischievous grin appeared on her face. "What if I said that it was because I didn't want to be grouped up with those weaklings?"

"What do you say?!" Selenica shouted as her killing intent flared. "You dare speak ill of the ten strongest wizards?!"

"Calm down Selenica! We're still inside the magic council!"

With Astrid's warning, Selenica calmed herself, and Kali received a vicious glare.

"Now then, if there's nothing else. I'll take my leave." Kali said as she walked past them. She could feel the glares on her back.

Once Kali was outside, she stared into the pastel-like sky.

"How long has it been since I've felt this way?" Kali murmured to herself. "Those two candidates, they'll become strong enough to cause calamities, they might even be the calamities."

Kali chuckled to herself as she started heading towards her home which she hadn't been to in over half a decade.

"Home, huh? I want to be in bed right now."
