Fairy 65:  All a misunderstanding… right? Part 1

When Hisui finally managed to calmed Vottes down, from killing Zack.

Hisui and Vottes sat on Zack's bed, while Hisui herself, told Vottes about what happened last night, while Zack who is kneeling on the ground, has a confuse look why he had to be on his knees for. But Nightfall, told him, woman could be unreasonable sometimes, bear with it.

After Hisui finished telling her last night events. Vottes became shocked, and without any warning, she brought Hisui into her arms, and hugged and patted her head. Hisui, and also Zack was shocked by this sisterly action of hers. But Zack didn't question it, either did Hisui, who actually enjoy and felt happy in her embrace.

With a clear mind, Vottes also noticed something else. It was something very simple, that anyone will notice right away. But when Vottes attacked Zack due to a misunderstanding. Rage clouded her mind, to notice Zack's attire is not his usual ones.

In fact, he seems to be wearing more clothing than usual, and now Vottes thinks about it. When he used Vibrating Fist against her Icy Spear, normally, when they spar between training, Zack doesn't need anything besides his physical strength, to shatter that ice spears. Unless Zack cannot use his full strength for some reason.

Not using his full strength, and even sleeping with more clothing, besides his normal clothing. Vottes cannot help, to feel something is strange, even her dragon like instincts telling her, something isn't right about Zack.

That is why, cannot help her instincts as an Ice Dragon Slayer. She made her way towards Zack, who also noticed her looking at him strangely.

"You… hurt, right?" Vottes asked, with a hint of nervous could be felt in her worried tone.

"Hahaha, just some minor wounds… nothing to worry about." Zack went, even if he has indeed used Light Magic to heal his wounds, only wounds that are nearly healed are everything besides his right hand, that he used Annihilation Impact, still hasn't healed. Meaning his right hand, that might seem healed from the outside, isn't from the inside yet.

Even now, he is using Light Magic as little as possible, to heal the inside of his right hand and arm, that took on the recoil of Annihilation Impact.

But Zack did a mistake from lying, if Vottes Brave was a normal wizard, maybe he will get away from it with that excuse. But Vottes is a Dragon Slayer, the fundamentals of Dragon Slayers, is the DNA of a dragon is dwelling in their bodies.

It is the reason why if Dragon Slayers bathed in too much Dragon blood, they will turn into a Dragon themselves. And it also the reason, why their senses and intuition are different to normal humans. And also the reason why, Vottes knew Zack is lying, that made her both mad and sad at the same time.

This didn't go unnoticed by Zack, as his grassy green eyes widen, realising she caught onto his white lie, as he felt many complex emotions dwelling inside him.

He didn't know why, he lied to Vottes, if one think about it, he has no reason to either hide or lie to Vottes about the wounds done to his body. After all, it is very common for Wizards to be covered in wounds nearly most of the time. Experience equals to pain, and pain equals to growth, that is how wizards, and even knights, see themselves, when they covered in wounds. 

But it didn't change the fact, he lied to her, even if he did it unintentionally, doesn't change the fact. The moment he saw that worried look on her face, and that nervousness behind her voice speaking to him. His heart felt it ripping apart once again, as he unknowing said those words, not to worry her.

"You don't trust me… don't you? Even after all this time, we spent together, I am still a stranger to you?" Vottes went with sadness could be felt in her light pink eyes. But besides the sorrow, she also felt rage at the same time.

Rage, that the person she in love with, and the one with thought they were getting closer with each other, didn't think the same way as her. But Vottes managed to calmed down her chaotic emotions and sadness and rage.

Zack might be a dense, but even someone like himself, could tell Vottes is holding back her frustration. He somewhat gets why she fed up with him, because they are partners, that been traveling in the wildness for a long time.

They trained together, they chat together, and even share meals. Even if he still doesn't know he has feelings for her, or unknowingly refuses because of Mirajane. Doesn't change the fact, Vottes is a very dear friend to him he made in these 2 months, someone that came important to him, like everyone else back at Fairy Tail.

Which is why, the moment Zack saw her face, was the moment guilt hammed onto his heart, realising his words has hurt her.

"I am sorry…" Zack honestly went, which did startle Vottes, as her pink eyes widen, as she looked at Zack.

"I just don't know why… I lied… maybe I just didn't what to worry you. I mean, it will only take a day or two to fully heal my right hand and arm, and everywhere else, is nearly healed… it just… well you know…" Zack went, as his cheeks redden a little, unable to find the rest of the words to describe his feelings. In fact, he has no clue what he was going to say, he just felt he has become an idiot or something at this moment.

On the other hand, Vottes's pink eyes widen, as he cheeks also dyed deeper shade of red then Zack's when she heard his words, that shows how much he cared about her. Which is why she cannot resist to giggle hearing the idiot before her, who has no clue what he doing right now.

As Zack become startled hearing her laughter, that sound oddly cute to him. But he didn't notice it since he is dense. He stared in the pink eyes of hers, while Vottes who stopped giggling also stared into his grassy green eyes and smiled.

It was unknown how long this last, but within that time, they were staring at each other. Hisui who not only heard all this, but seen this dream before her, has become the fourth wheel between these two. (AN: Nightfall is the third wheel)

For some reason, when Hisui saw this, she felt discomfort, and uneasiness in her young immature heart. She doesn't know why she felt annoyed seeing this. And for a few seconds, she even pouted her cheeks, in a cutely way. But her green eyes widen, realising she is acting rudely, and sighed not knowing what's going on.

'Why…?' Hisui questioned herself in her mind, not understanding this strange feeling, that manifested in her mind. Thankfully, these strange feelings inside her heart, isn't that hard to control, as Hisui managed to control her unexpectedly feelings.

But she has no clue, over time, these feelings she has no clue what they are. Will not only grow stronger, but also will cloud her mind in the future when they become uncontrollable at times as well. However, she too young and immature knew this, or let those feelings to cloud her yet, due she only a 11-year-old child at the end of the day.

While Hisui thought her strange behaviour went unnoticed. They wasn't, both a certain perverted sword, that been enjoying the show all this time, and Vottes, noticed her changed, as Vottes, who took her pink eyes away from Zack, who also did the same. And looked at Hisui, with complicated emotions dwelling inside her mind.

'It's all a misunderstanding… right?' Vottes thought and doubted in her mind. But soon she snapped out of it, as she turned her attention to the man, she love the most before her.

"Anyway, what is our plans now?" Vottes asked this, while checking all of his wounds personally.

"Same before, but this time, before we do our thing. We travel to Crocus, the capital of Fiore. And when we arrived in Crocus, we drop off Hisui there. And on our… ouch… our way there, w-we… trained we always do… say Vottes, can you stop, it hurting."

Zack went with a wry smile, as Vottes added strength to her grips, when she is checking Zack's right arm, that used the Annihilation Impact spell, and still suffering from the backlash of the spell.

"Sorry~ Still, it looked fine on the outside~" Vottes went with an amused face, as she let go. While Zack sighed and carried on.

"Like I was saying, we train, while also protecting Vis, as we head to Crocus." Zack simply went.

"Vis…?" Vottes went, as she confused who that is.

"When we first met… I give Sir Zack a fake name, Visli is what I called myself." Hisui explained.

"Didn't I tell you to stop with the sir?" Zack said with a sigh, while Hisui shyly laughed hearing that.

"Vis huh, say can I call you that as well?" Vottes asked, as she went closer to Hisui, who was startled a little, seeing Vottes, who was only half a meter away from her, is now very close to her.

"I don't mind… it is a nice feeling, to be called something like a nickname, it is something I never experienced before… so I very like that, thank you." When Hisui said that with a gentle smile, and a shy look, befitting her age. Something snapped in Vottes, as Vottes suddenly hugged her.

"Miss V-Vottes…?" Hisui shyly went, not expecting Vottes sudden actions of affection.

"Sorry~ It just you look so cute, when you say that, and like Zack, don't call me miss, of course, that will be a different story, if you call me miss Smasher instead." When Vottes said that with a loving smile, still hugging Hisui she even winked at Zack, who tilted his head hearing her.

"Wasn't your last name Brave, Vottes?" Shame enough, Zack didn't get it.
