--Two Years Later

" You need to eat more .... Eat eat eat... " Ray's father pressured him as he put a lot of meat on the plate of Ray.

" ...n...o I can't eat anymore. " Ray sat down on the chair, his stomach stretched out, and said to his father while closing his mouth with his hand, attempting not to vomit what he had just eaten.

Ray had a big smile when he saw his little brother who just turned 5 years old.

" Ni.. Ni... Carry me. " His cute little brother looked at him sparkling eyes and he carried his little brother while teasing him along the way and he put his little brother on the child seat , he kissed the cheek of his little brother and left from his house.

" Oh! Ray , good morning "

" Good morning ! Uncle. "

" Good Morning! Cat . "

Ray greeted people along the way, and he was well-liked by the villagers because everyone knew he was training under the chief, the village's only wizard. Everyone left when they reached a certain age and decided to explore the vast world.

" Old man . I am here. " Ray knocked on the door and yelled loudly. He referred to the chief as an old man, and after nearly two years of training under him, Ray could call him his master who taught him almost everything in his magic.

' Sigh! I don't have that much progress in my magic though. ' Ray's magical progression had been stalled, so he decided to seek assistance from an old man. His knowledge of magic increased significantly, but he still only learned 2/5 of his lost magic book.

" Noisy ! Let's me sleep. You idiot. " An old man threw a small rock at him, and Ray used his magic power to make a small rock near him float, protecting him from the old man's rock. However, an old man shot at him with another small rock, this time with incredible speed and power.

" Rock Magic : Speed "

" Rock magic : clones."

An old man chanted his spell as the rock multiplied into ten rocks and charged at Ray at high speed.

" Rock Magic : explosion "

Ray also cast his spell back, and the rocks that approached him exploded into numerous pieces.

" Not bad. " An old man clapped his hand and he smiled .

Suddenly, a small rock shot at Ray's back with great speed, and Ray smiled back at an elderly man.

" Shadow's Embrace : Steal. " After he stole the small rock's magical power, it lost speed and fell to the ground as gravity pulled it back.

" Good! I have nothing to teach you. With you and your complex magic." An old man yelled him and shut the door up with the force.

" Come on, an old man. Accept your defeat; you have beaten me for a year, and now I have won. Hahahahahaha.... " Ray laughed like a maniac and knocked on the door very fast.

" Noisy. Quickly enter the house. " An old man opened the door and slammed into him and Ray quickly entered the house.

It was a simple house, and he, like him, was a wizard who traveled the world before retiring to this village and becoming the village chief.

"Not bad for an old man. You used your magic to conceal the rock and send it behind me when you districted me with multiple rocks." Ray sat down on the floor and said with a smile.

For him , magic was everything. For the first time in his two lives, he discovered the purpose of his life. He had never studied so hard for an exam, and he gave it his all for the first time in his life. He gave up his life after his parents died and he became an ugly existence. But now, his life sparkled like stars, and he saw the light for the first time in his life.

" Good!. The world of wizards are very ugly and you always need to careful when you fight wizards " The old man acknowledged.

' I guess ! This is everything I can learn from an old man. ' He muttered as he examined the old man's condition. An old man was exhausted after casting three spells, and he had reached his limit. After all, Ray and an old man differed significantly in terms of magical power. Each wizard had their own container inside their body to store magic power; Ray's container was shaped like a barrel, while an old man's container resembled a small mug cup. The difference between them was just too big but Ray indeed learned a lot of things from an old man.

"Do not be so proud of it; what I am teaching you is just holder magic that any wizard can learn. But you only learned from me in two years, so you must have talent. An old man patted Ray's head and said with a smile.

" Wait here. I have something to give you. After all, I have nothing to teach you. "

' I guess ! My journey in this village may be coming to an end. Ray sighed as sadness covered him and he looked at the ceiling.

Even though holder magic was known as the easiest magic type to learn, it was nearly impossible for beginners to learn it in two years.

To be honest, Ray did not learn the magic. He used one of his spells to steal some of an old man's magic, permanently incorporating it into himself. The spell was called ' Shadow's Embrace Magic : Usurp ' . The spell worked very simple. Ray stole some of an old magic's Rock Magic, but his proficiency in using Rock Magic was so low that it took him nearly two years to use it comfortably. It took time but worth. Even someone like Makarov could only use less than 3 Tyler of magic comfortably and now! Ray knew 2 type of magic already.

However, his proficiency in holder magic remained zero because he could only steal rock magic. In the anime, Lucy was a holder-type wizard who was very comfortable using Cana's Card magic because they were both holder-type wizards. But it was not the same for Ray.

" I did take some time. Take this. " An old man came back with a box in his hand .

" Gun? "

" Yeah! A rock gun. As you know, I am a holder-type wizard so I need to use the item to flow my magic power very well. This will help you. Please treat this carefully. After all, I should not dust this gun anymore. It should accompany your journey. " An old man looked at the gun with a smile that filled with nostalgic eyes.

It was an average revolver that appeared to be old and came with six casings in addition to the revolver, which a wizard was supposed to charge with his magic and spells in casings and fired them.

" No! I'm the one who should thsnk. " An old man nodded his head and said with a little bit of tears.
